I want to preface this by stating I have never left a negative review in my entire life. I am disgusted by the treatment that myself and my husband received by a callous barista by the name of Jesus.
I went into this Starbucks in urgent need of using the restroom, planning to purchase egg bites once I was out. I reached the bathroom door to find it was locked with a code. My husband hurriedly asked the barista for the code as it was clearly urgent. The barista was incredibly smug and downright rude, saying, “did you buy something?” My husband responded saying he would take a small coffee-which by the way cost $4.95-and then politely asked again for the code as the purchase was going through. The barista, Jesus, apparently more invested in flexing his authority than showing basic decency, smirked while waiting for the transaction to process and only then gave out the code. There was literally ONE other couple in the entire place and it’s not like people were battling for the restroom.
I have been to many other places with “customer only” restroom policies as I am a hospice nurse and am always traveling around. I want to reiterate that I am not angry that this barista was enforcing a rule set by the company but rather am disgusted by the way he went about it. I have never been met with such condescending nor demeaning behavior. I understand stores have rules, but gatekeeping a bathroom in exchange for money in an emergency feels incredibly inhumane and petty. For a company that profits billions from “community” spaces, this felt like the exact opposite and, in fact, very cruel. Do better.
P.s. The coffee...
Read moreI just had the worst experience here the tender that served us was extremely rude when taking our order. I noticed it when making my order but it only got worse when I got to the window we kindly asked to add a pastry and she was quick to decline saying she wasnt about to add anything that they had a line out the back and if u wanted to add it I'd have to go back in line? So it takes you an eternity to grab a pastry? On top of that we let that go progress to pay for our drinks when she comes back and tells us she doesnt have change for a $20 bill ? So unless we pay a different way she cant serve us. Besides the the fact that she did everything wrong it was her attitude that made the whole experience so unpleasant!!! If you're clearly miserable serving coffee vent that anger elsewhere not while I'm trying to get my coffee. I hope management takes action before it's to late and she costs this place more money and faithful customers. I didnt get her name because she didnt have a name tag on as well...
Read moreZero stars if given. I ordered inside. Only person inside. I waited for my drink to come out “faster” it ends up baristas clearly cleared out drive through And I still didn’t get my drink. Why do I have to wait? knowing that Starbucks is the 1 coffee that people love I know that. You guys know to also that I waited for so long and didn’t even know what kind of drink I ordered? Unbelievable. also giving drive through full drinks while mobile orders gets half filled. Baristas clearly know what there doing and just make me wait. I was a manager once this will never slide I am the chain of the store that held things together. Customer service is not okay thought it was diversity place. I guess not. Will be giving my money and time to a company that actually cares about the person who ordered first. Then giving there drink last until drive through cleared...
