What we purchased I ordered the menudo. Whenever your sick, fresh bowl of menudo does the trick. That’s what I got. It was so flavorful. The tripe is so fresh and perfect. It doesn’t have any hominy which is the best because I don’t like it. I’m more of meat and soup kind of person. So this was perfect. Birria combo plate! Perfect!! My husband ate this. It was soo much food and also great for left overs. Ham and egg taco. It was so nice of the server and the chef in the back to make my toddler ham and egg taco. My toddler devoured it. So he really liked it. Side of rice and beans. My toddler loves rice and beans. What can you say he is a growing boy. Shrimp taco. I wanted to try this. Don’t judge me. Yes I ate this too. What can you expect. We came here hungry. Horchata. Delicious. My toddler drank this whole thing. Hahahaha

I ordered 3 tacos- lengua, asada, and gobernador- and 1 birria quesadilla. The gobernador is a shrimp taco with chipotle sauce and guacamole, and it was by far my favorite!! The chipotle sauce is very rich and creamy, and the shrimps were on the larger size. Portions were really good.

I really love the quality of the meats, for all of my tacos, but was bummed that my birria quesadilla was not marinated in the consomé. Other birria tacos and quesadillas I’ve had at other places have the meat drenching in the consomé, so it did miss out on that added flavor. Most defiently going to return to this spot. Family owned and they have great service. Stumbled upon this hidden gem cause it’s hard to find some decent tacos. Read all the reviews and saw the negative ones wanted to try this place out. Glad we came here. Their shrimp taco is fire. And everything here is great. Great portion for what you pay for.
