Love that chicken at Popeyes. I came to this location at 3 separate occasions, all the times I came to this specific Popeyes, they are out of items that keep them in business such as butter, biscuits, chicken breast, mashed potatoes, hot sauce, etc. I can go on. 1st visit they were out of mild chicken tenders, so I got the spicy tenders. It took least 20 mins (this is fast food) to get my order and the chicken tenders were extra salty and weren't even temperature hot. The 2nd visit the staff were unorganized and almost gave me the wrong order, not to mention that the employee in the back was on their cell phone I should have cancelled my order and never returned. The 3rd visit chicken was cold, the buscuits were burnt, the Mac and cheese was like mashed potatoes mushy, the Cole slaw was warm, the pies were ok. The customer service is the worst, they forget items like your chicken, your sides, biscuits etc. So i call the number to explain what I'm missing, and no answer. After several attempts a young woman answers the phone I tell her what items I'm missing, she was semi polite and gets my order number and offers me to get my missing items replaced. So I arrive and I tell the cashier that I called and my order was incorrect. I waited for about 20mins for them to replace the items. No extra anything for their fault and making me drive to get the items that they forgot to input my order. I would be a shame to have the employees they have, Popeyes should be and would be if they see the conditions and the way these employees conduct themselves. The cashier was rolling her eyes when I told her their dilemma, the on site supervisor didn't applogize for any inconvenience. It seems that they hire kids with no experience and they don't care about the owners business, I swear that these kids have their friends come by to eat for free, I guess this is the owners problem if they expect to stay in business. Read moreI ordered 2 #5 Tender Pieces, Spicy. They combined both combos, which umm.....no, they are separate and should be in their own tray. Also, they quoted it back at pick-up and said one original and one spicy, which I corrected them on. However, come home and this issue wasn't fixed. In addition, I was missing a biscuit. For $15.98 each plus tax, I am finding it hard to not be dissatisfied on both combos being placed in 1 tray, and the original flavor still there even after correcting it. Back a couple of years ago a 5 piece tender was enough to share with someone, now this combo at again $15.98 is hardly enough to feel "not" full let alone satisfied. Very unhappy all around. Nevermind they also expect you to be the cashier.
Update: The location replied to my post, which is nice, I just wish that I was able to directly submit in an issue with the company. I did originally go to the website, which uses AI to try and solve any issues but it's a lot of clicking and the options weren't present for me say what was wrong. All in all, this over reliance on technology to somehow bridge the gap between customer service and poor quality isn't working. Read moreThe A.I. Drive Thru is HORRIBLE. It is weird and does not even get orders right. It is a horrible idea. There are some places where A.I..Is NOT APPROPRIATE at all, and one of them is with serving food. But, if you have ever tried chatting with eBay customer service online, then I guess you will like having an equally useless time wasting experience ordering food at this Popeyes.
I have been a customer here on at least a weekly basis for many years. I have been through all the changes at this location and different franchise owners.
But, I am finally done with this. The difficulty and uncomfortable experience as well as the basic thought of any company to have AI taken my order is not what I nor any other customers want.
I will never come here again and will make a concentrated effort to tell people to avoid this location until the AI order system is removed.
What a horrible idea. The food here was never that great, and this stupid feature is enough to ruin this place.
