Where should I start? Do not recommend period. In fact run far and fast away from this place. Ever chewed on rubber. You will if you eat the chicken at this place. I have been a fan of Zaxby's ever since they opened. This by far is the worst one ever. I loved waiting on my food because I knew the food was going to be fresh. So when the drive thru serves you fast you know the food is not going to be good and it definitely was not. Shame on you Zaxby's in Gardendale for serving my family food you would not have eaten yourself. Shame on you for not caring enough to make our order right. Shame on you for making me pay for items I did not receive. I pray you will be better to your future customers unlike what you did for me. People really just want good food to eat. I love Zaxby's in general but this particular location seems to always have a sign on their drive thru stating that they are out of ice or out of sweet tea. When I order on the app, I am able to get sweet tea with ice and never have issues with them being "out" despite the sign on the drive thru menu. Furthermore, when I go inside of the location, they are not out of ice or sweet tea despite the sign on the drive thru menu. I'm not sure why they put that sign up from time to time especially with it not being true but it is handwritten and it seems to be a deterrent in my opinion to get rid of customers. They make their sweet tea so how is it possible to be out unless they are out of sugar and Walmart is right across the street. Same goes for ice. What restaurant runs out of ice? The manager on duty was a little gruff. We were from out of town and had never been to a zaxby or heard of it. It was 8:15 PM and we came in for dinner before fining our hotel. This restaurant serves only chicken. When we began to order the manager said if you are ordering chicken it will be 6 minutes. I don't know what else we would be ordering, When the first person in our group ordered the manager said gruffly your order will take 8 minutes. It seemed like we were interrupting they're leisure time. No one else was in the place and the attention to us a a customer was poor. When our order came up it sat on the warming counter. When I went up and asked for the tray I was told it would be a while they were busy. hmmm.... definitely not my first choice of food...
