I went in this morning at 8 am to take advantage of the BOGO breakfast sandwiches for May, 2016. I'd bought two 6 in bacon egg and cheese sandwiches at the Fultondale and Homewood stores previously with no problems and very nice service. This person said I had to buy a lunch sandwich to get the breakfast sandwich. The advertisement CLEARLY says buy any sub before 9am and get one free. NOTHING about "lunch". She was very rude and when I explained to her my previous experiences at the other stores, she said they require a "lunch" sandwich to be purchased before 9am. Her whole demeanor and tone was rude. I asked to speak to the manager and she replied "I am the manager." I asked to speak to her manager and she said "call the corporate office." When I told her how rude she was being to me, she told me to leave. On the way out, I saw a sign stating that Mark Robinson is her boss. I'll have to apparently call the Subway corporate office to get in touch with him, but for the foreseeable future I will never spend my hard-earned money in that...
Read moreI ordered dinner online from the Gardendale location on December 16. My husband picked it up. When he got home we didn’t have a drink or chips and his sandwich was not toasted. I just told him and my daughter that I would go by on the next day for the chips and drink. I couldn’t stop by on the 17th so I went on the 18th. I walked in and explained to him and also handed him the receipt. He stared at it for a while then looked at the chip rack then at me. I explained again and he said “16th was a long time ago, today is the 18th” I explained again and he said “today not the 16th”. I said ok and tossed the receipt into the trash. Both my husband and I have supported this business but no more. I spent $38 on that day alone. I’ve only seen 3 people at the most in there when I stop by. I will not set foot in theire ever again. Read moreStopped by this location during a baseball tourney. The people working were some of the most unfriendly. They were difficult to understand and were annoyed when we didn’t. They didn’t acknowledge us when we asked for things and even though we stumbled through our order and were displeased with the experience we paid the $60 and completed the transaction. When we went to grab the beverage from the cooler we purchased it was warm. My husband grabbed a cup to get ice and both the man and woman working lost it, saying you didn’t order another drink! When we explained the drink was warm and we were getting ice, they again argued and said you need to pay for the cup! I asked if they were serious and they rudely said absolutely.
