This entire place is a throwback to yesteryear with some of the best cocktails in the area and the nicest staff. Miss Anna makes you feel like you stepped into a gatsby movie. We tried the Aztec elixir, famous espresso martini with a toasted marshmallow, seasonal pear brĂ»lĂ©e and the drink that inspired Zorro. We then went outside to soak up the fall themed patio where Miss Maggie made the chai White Russian and Carmel apple slush. There’s a cigar lounge right next door with plenty of chairs and tv screens to satisfy any sports lover. Can’t wait to come back with more friends.

Wait was a bit long, quoted at 15 min for 2 people and took about an hour to get in. Overall the drinks were good but I ordered the smoked old fashioned which is supposed to come in a cigar box but just came in a glass covering. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side at around $15/drink. The bartender did a great job and was very friendly. Overall we'll be back but only on special occasions due to cost.

I was in town for a wedding and a friend of mine brought me to this little gem in Gardner. I was so impressed upon walking in with the telephone and code to get in. Then, the ambiance and decor were top notch. The owner approached us and gave me the history of the bar and literally the backdrop of the bar where all of the liquor was placed. This is important. There are three different businesses on this site. The Forge is the speakeasy (cocktails, wine, no food). The Bellows is the outdoor bar (beer, cocktails, food truck, etc). Ash & Anvil is a cigar lounge with drinks. Different hours, different vibes. However, I love that all of this exists in Gardner and is another option on main street ❀ Worth a visit for sure and tell them...
