This is a great spot for coffee and atmosphere, but more than that let’s talk about service!!! VERY niche issue, but I lost ONE glove, and I was quite literally distraught calling all over town trying to inquire at the places I’d visited after lost and found boxes. It’s a special glove to me and I would never have been able to replace it (I know I lost it like a fool). I called and left my name and number with the team and they said they’d let me know if it was found (it had been lost for several days at this point). Sadly I cannot remember the name of the queen I spoke with, but SHE FOUND MY GLOVE ! She called me back almost immediately and my family was able to go pick it up for me (I don’t live in Traverse City). I have no notes. The lattes and matchas are great, too, plus they rotate in cute new seasonal drinks! If you want to go to a place that has your back and makes great drinky drinks, they are the place. Also the pretty girl who works at the bar complimented my friend and my outfits so it feels like you found a bunch of your new...
Read moreSeismoto is awesome! We stopped there on our way into town and my wife got a cappuccino that was great, and I just got a drip (black) and it was excellent. So we stopped on our way back out too. The bar area seemed really cool, but we just stuck with coffee. There as live music on Saturday, and that was great. The outdoor seating was really nice. The service was efficient and thorough, and the cashier offered me a sample of the drip before I ordered. The other servers were a bit curt. I wouldn’t describe any of their demeanors as warm, but professional would suffice. The bartender (there is an alcoholic drinks bar and a separate coffee bar) was very friendly and gave us a classic bartender’s greeting even though we weren’t in his line. “How we doing today guys?” with a big smile and while polishing a glass.
Awesome place. A bit loud, but surprisingly not that boomy for such a tall room with all hard surfaces....
Read moreI have had both good experiences and bad, but mostly bad. There is only one barista I’ve had that is kind- she has glasses and short hair. She was amazing! ..All of the others such as the young dark haired brunette girl and the male barista were both very standoffish. If you hate your job, don’t work there and go back to school. They very much so have “I hate my life” energy. I don’t think I can return even though this location is very convenient, I feel like they don’t WANT me to return. If this place could get better staff it would be a...
