A Better Sound — Local services in Garfield Township

I really would like to give these guys all five stars. They did an outstanding low voltage pre-wiring job on our newly built home. The Workers were very courteous, tech-smart, competent, hard working, professional and personable. The owner checked in on the crew frequently. They graciously dealt with a whole lot of customer questions and kept us informed as they worked on the project. They installed and completed ethernet connections on six new smart tv's, wired the entire house (over 4000 square feet) for wifi and and ethernet and installed a wired alarm system complete with video cameras and one of those cool video doorbells. Everything worked (and still works) flawlessly. They had all the gear for the project in stock and when we had a crew of four or five guys in the house, it was fascinating to watch. The reason they didn't get the fifth star is simply, they are so busy that it was difficult to get them scheduled to complete the work. Our region is experiencing a real building boom and they are clearly over-booked. Worth the wait? Yes. But we did experience some delays getting calls returned as well as some frustration and anxiety about when they would get to us. Hence the one-star penalty. That aside, I...

I was referred to A Better Sound for TV installation’s in my previous home and was impressed with their outstanding customer service and pricing. So when we built a new home, of course we reached out to Josh and his staff for our Home audio/video needs which included a home theater system. I had also read a previous Google review which made me a little nervous and I discussed that with Josh the owner. He addressed each point the previous dissatisfied customer mentioned and being a small business owner my self, I believed his responses.

I am glad we discussed things and the scope of our job. They met or exceeded our expectations in every aspect of the job and finished on budget and even more important, on time. We have had zero issues with the job and the owner has reached out on multiple occasions to see if everything was still performing as promised and to see if I had any questions or concerns. I subsequently referred them to a friend and they came thru with flying colors on their home theater system as well.

Tremendous communication, customer service and fair pricing. I would highly recommend A Better Sound for all home...

Josh and his team, including Cody, are certainly the best in the region and then some.

Josh came into my boss’ custom new construction with a depth of knowledge and experience that had everyone smiling and excited, while still maintaining a a calm, respectful and all around “all-business” attitude at the same time. Ask yourself how many people can do that? Josh had all the right suggestions to peoples ideas, and tons of industry experience to fill in the gaps for other under-the-radar tasks.

Some reviews have commented on long waits or difficulty scheduling. There’s a perfect explanation for this-Josh and his team are VERY in demand-literally from coast to coast! When you can remind yourself of this it will instill confidence, knowing you’re working with someone people trust and are the BEST.

Patience will pay dividends at the end of a job-when Josh and the team are on-site, they are focused on their task, whilst always willing to help the homeowner, designer, etc if plans change!
