Fortune China — Restaurant in Garfield

I don't usually do this but this had to be done. I ordered a very simple order for lunch. Nothing to fancy or complicated. I work here in Garfield so the delivery time wasn't the issue. However, my order was wrong. I called back, respectfully talked to the manager. Explained that my order was wrong and can they send me the correct order. She told me yes we'll bring the correct order and to just give the driver the wrong order back. I had opened the order so I didn't think it was safe to give the old order back but ok I told her I'll give it back. I always order here and this has never been a problem. I wasted half an hour waiting on the original delivery, then waited 2 and half hours for the replacement order and nobody never showed up. I definitely won't be ordering from this place ever again. Sad part is that I liked the food but they don't handle mistakes well. Mistakes happen and I'm still being polite about this. But I lost today on food, time, and satisfaction. You guys lost a good...

This restaurant is run by wonderful, caring, couple; who work hard to cook and serve up delicious meals. Really nice people!

On the noodles... While primarily a "Rice Shop", they have an excellent; "Beef Chow Fun with Hot oil" noodle dish. If you want to try a cool noodle dish here, ask for 'Cold sesame noodle - Hot' and they will serve it hot, perfect for spooning Kung Pao Chicken over for a super good.. Peanut Noodle!!

So, about the rice.. Not to be overlooked is their fantastic, and rather authentic, "Young Chow Fried Rice"; which is amazing topped with their huge "Shrimp in Lobster Sauce". Also pretty great is the "Moo Goo Gai Pan over Rice"

If you are into dumplings, chicken or pork; they make them steamed, fried, and my favorite, wok fried, served with a well seasoned sweet soy.

Warning overpriced and undercooked. Very upset with the portions they give you for the high price the containers barely fit anything in there compared to other Chinese restaurants and there's a picture of the receipt which I included and it breaks everything down for three people came out to $48 and change which is very unacceptable. The size of the containers was almost the size of my hand and with that place being in business for such a long time was expecting better portions of food. Do not recommend this place anymore and it's not Justin certified at all too high of prices and undercooked food especially the french fries literally looks like they came from...
