Avenue Event Space — Attraction in South Hackensack

I spoke with the owner to get a quote and when I let them know that what they were asking for wasn't in my price range he was very nasty asked (his exact words) "Why would I contact an event venue for that rate?" How very unprofessional. There was no agreement I completely crossed them off the list. He was asking for $1,600 for a 3-4 hour daytime event of 50 to 60 people where I would be providing my own decorations food and DJ. That may be common for most events venues of people who have crowds of 100 + but I did not. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never contact them in the future do to their unprofessionalism.

Look at their response and you can see the attitude that they have. I only hung up on them after they tried to call me back a few days later after being very rude and disrespectful. You need to learn how to speak to people.

I said that I did not need a dance floor, LED Lights, a, DJ, food or anything of the kind. I have my own tables and chairs. I told you all that I needed was a space. I'm not going to spend 3k for a venue for 3-4 hours that's totally unheard of in this area. It should last at least 6 hours for that rate. All I needed was an empty venue for 3-4 hours for a very small crowd. I'm not having hundreds of guest, 50 people maximum you fool.Lying about the matter makes you look incoherent. It does not clean up the mess at all. your disgusting and i would NEVER consider this venue even if it was a large event. Other reviews have already said the inside is DIRTY so I can only imagine.

A Party Planner’s Dream Venue!

I recently had the pleasure of planning and executing an event at Avenue and I can’t sing their praises enough! The owner and the entire team went above and beyond to make it an outstanding experience.

From the get-go, communication was a breeze. They were incredibly easy to work with, promptly responding to texts and phone calls. When last-minute changes were requested by the client, they not only accommodated but the owner even stepped in personally, showing an unmatched dedication to ensuring everything ran smoothly.

The venue itself is a gem. The customizable space knows no bounds, allowing for creative freedom beyond imagination, all at a remarkably affordable rate. What impressed me most was the cleanliness and readiness of the space, despite hosting another event just hours before ours.

Even after the regular staff had left for the day, the owner was there to make sure every detail was attended to. The on-site staff during the event was equally fantastic, contributing to a seamless night that left both guests and hosts delighted.

Where do I start? Planning my daughter’s Sweet 16 was a breeze due to the ease and assistance from Avenue Event Space. From my first interactions with Arial and Yuval, I felt completely taken care of, understood, and supported. The venue is absolutely beautiful; from the lighting to the dance floor, the tables, room set up, LeD wall, 360 booth, game wall, selfie section (of course for the girls and the moms haha), entertainment, catering…everything was flawless and top notch. This venue is clean, cleaned throughout the event, the bathrooms were maintained as the night went on…you don’t see that happening much anymore at other places. There are a ton of places that are labeled “event spaces” and I’ve been to most of them; however none of them deliver an event from beginning to end all the way around the way Avenue delivered. I’d even say the timeline and run of events was well thought out and actually made sense within the progression of the night. Will I be back again…yes.
