I went 2 weeks ago on a Sunday morning and they were great. I did find them expensive but what meat isn’t, the only complain from that visit was that while the young lady was packing my order she was distracted a few time by the music videos playing on the TV🤦🏽♀️(I just wanted my good so I can leave). I went again that Sunday around 7pm my husband wanted to try them. We ordered 22 tacos and we were missing 3 🤦🏽♀️. My husband was only able to eat 2 because our teenage boys were still hungry. I ordered some today, lady said that my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I got off to pay around the 10minute mark, and my order was already prepared. Not happy with the fact that they said my order would take longer than what it really did. The to go box from the bottom wasn’t too warm, so I was already discouraged because to enjoy a taco it has to be fresh not soggy from the steam of the to go box. Today’s tacos the meat was super dry and hard, they didn’t put as much cheese as they did on Sunday. The first time I went I asked what hours is the meat the most fresh, young lady said “it’s made fresh daily”. Today, to me that proved to be a lie. Here is what I think, they are pricey but the amount of meat they serve makes up for it, if you want them fresh I suggest going on the weekends and when they are busier and have no other option but to serve fresh meat through...
Read moreI visited De La Fuente Tacos de Birria with my family for lunch, hoping for a pleasant experience, but what we encountered was deeply disappointing and left a bitter taste in our mouths. To be fair, the food was good well prepared and enjoyable but the appalling behavior of the restaurant’s owner completely overshadowed any positives. In the middle of our lunch, we were shocked to witness the owner verbally berating his wife in front of staff and customers. His aggressive tone and complete lack of respect were jarring and uncomfortable, turning what should have been a relaxing family outing into a tense and unpleasant experience. It’s hard to imagine how someone who projects such a polished, professional image on social media could behave so deplorably in public. If this is how he acts in his own restaurant, I can only imagine how he treats his poor wife behind closed doors. This unprofessional and toxic display not only tarnished the restaurant’s reputation but also ruined our afternoon. The staff seemed uncomfortable, and the atmosphere was heavy with tension, making it impossible to enjoy our time there. Despite the owner’s efforts to present an elegant image online, this experience revealed a starkly different reality. Unfortunately, due to this incident, I won’t...
Read more2nd time going. Food ingredients seems most generic and not authentic Mexican. Waitress said salsas are homemade but when arrived I said it looks like no chunks, but from a can (lata), she said yes it was from a can. I specifically ordered an extra taco to go after asking if you can order just single taco, instead entire order was placed. The fajita and birria were ok, but overall bland, like the salsas. My daughter tasted the orange/red salas w/fajita and said same, tastes like basil tomato soup, I said pizza marinara. The service was poor in many aspects, no hot sauce brought for ceviche and waitress dropped it off so quick I couldn't even ask, apparently to hang out at serving area with others. About 7 different workers walked by and no one asked how was everything, also no presence of manager. The service and food is much lower than the price, I am guessing many good reviews because appearance of place is very nice and food looks very nice. So many good competitors nearby. The bar would be great if Salsa dancing were offered but again, it may just cater to more of a Tex-Mex crowd. May try again in...
