And in the on going saga of trying to get this place to process a simple refund. 18 days and numerous phone calls and it’s still not resolved! On 10-1 I ordered take out online, went to pick up my order and had to wait, no big deal. Finally get my food and get home, they gave me the incorrect appetizer, again no big deal. My entree was good but they served it on cold rice bummer! I called to request a refund for the appetizer the same night, guy said he would take care of it. Mid week it still had not hit my account, so I called again and was told it can take 2 to 5 business days to call back and speak to a Mgr. I waited and called again on the 7th spoke to the new GM and she told me it was lunch rush and she would look into it and call me back in 1 hour, no return call until after 4 and she said it was NOT processed but that she would take care of it and refund the whole meal. I said that I was not expecting that but I appreciated it. Fast forward to today, the 18th and still NO refund. Currently waiting on yet another return call and more waiting! Do better Pei Wei
The owners reply is ridiculous, how many times do I have to reach out to get a refund!! I called again on Thursday the 20th and spoke with Jesse and asked to speak to the Mgr, he was on break so I asked that he call me back. Never returned my call, so yet again I placed my 10th call and found out the refund was not processed and here I am 22 days in and no less than 10 calls I have placed to Pei Wei to get this resolved. Not once has anyone from Pei Wei taken the initiative to resolve this! They have all the information, my name and phone number but not once have they initiated a call to me. Owners say to reach out to make it up to me, your actions speak louder...
Read morePei-Wei Asian Kitchen at the Fire Wheel in Garland, Texas is horrible when it comes to customer service. I have submitted my concerns twice on the Pei-Wei website and have yet received a phone call from anyone from management or corporate. I was disgusted by the cleanliness of the restaurant and the lack of common courtesy from certain employees and the unprofessionalism of the General Manager. During my disappointing visit to Pei-Wei, an employee rudely walked in front of me 3 times while I was looking at the menu deciding what I wanted to order. She did not say excuse me or asked if I needed any help. When I sat to wait for my food I noticed that no customer was greeted or acknowledged from any employee. I also noticed that there were tables that were unkept. The General Manager, Obed, never came to the floor to greet his customers. As a matter of fact, I would see him walk to the back room or just stay in the kitchen area away from the public. I recently heard a recording of this manager dismissing concerns from the former assistant manager for simply requesting a sick day and bringing up concerns about employee harassment in the workplace. Enclosed are photos of the uncleanliness of this restaurant and the employee and manager showing lack of customer service. The food itself is good, but the lack customer service and uncleanliness is terrible. In my experience, if you try to send your reviews on their website, management will not respond or acknowledge any...
Read moreGood customer service, prompt, friendly, however, not as good on the delivery of food items. Ordered a chicken lettuce wrap, Honey Seared Chicken, and a Peiwei original. The quality of the food was poor (not at all the product I remembered when they first came to Texas). Lettuce wrap had a small portion of chicken in a fairly size container, where it was like finding a needle in a haystack looking for a krispy rice noodle (if that’s what they’re called, idk), and the lettuce did not help any as few of the pieces were able to cup the chicken. The Peiwei original was fine if you consider fine as having the chicken clumped in a starch ball with sauce covering the outside edges (the snap peas were the best part). Then there is the Honey Seared Chicken that was masquerading as a Orange Peal chicken. Worst part of that deal was the fact that there were only three small pieces of chicken (wouldn’t have minded the surprise of the order if it had been portioned fairly). So to wrap up my visit would probably end like this. I was overcome with anticipation to get home, dash out the food, and dig in... but when that time came I was utterly disappointed. I won’t be back...
