Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Garland

I moved to the area and tried this chipotle location for the first time. I love chipotle, but this location has lost me as a customer.

Firstly, none of the employees were wearing nametags. I would have loved to put their names in this review so their employee behavior could have been corrected.

The employees were rushing us through the line. They had about 5 bowls lined up completed, I was standing at the tortilla warmer, and the employee was all the way at the toppings asking what I wanted....I can’t even see down there! Secondly, all 4 employees at the counter were extremely unfriendly towards me and my family, as well as the other gentleman in front of us. Example: The guy in front of us asked for a water cup. They handed him a large cup from behind the counter. He paid and started to walk away with the cup when they said “hey, you didn’t pay for that drink.” He told them that they handed him this cup when he asked for a water cup. The employee proceeded to rip the cup out of his hands and hand him a smaller cup, and throw the large cup directly into the trashcan. First of all, how rude; secondly, how wasteful! There was not a smile or welcome or thank you from a single employee.

The portion sizes were also very irregular and poor. My sister got more sour cream on one scoop than she did her chicken or rice, as did I, and my other sister. Also, I know this is policy, but the employee never told me guac would be extra. When they put lettuce on each of our bowls, it was such a small amount...even when we asked for more lettuce, she maybe gave us 7 pieces of shredded lettuce more. It was extremely skimpy on meat and rice as well.

Once we got our food, we realized they forgot to give us tortillas that they asked for. When we went to fill up our water cups, I was thankful I didn’t purchase a soda because 3 of the sodas were “out of order.” Unfortunately, so was their water machine! Unbelievable. Took about 35-40 seconds to fill my tiny cup because of how slow it was flowing out of the machine.

I have never been so dissatisfied with a chipotle location. I have never been upset enough to write a review on a fast food location. The service was terrible, unfriendly, and I will not be back to...

I walked in today and the first thing that I noticed was the lady at the grill belittling the guy that was making the food because he ran out of chicken and he turn around and grab the chicken that was on the counter and then started pouring it into the empty container instead of just transferring it over to the hot area where the meats go for customers to see what they want. She told him from now on when I tell you here's the chicken take it all do you understand me? I ordered my food however the lady that was making my food wasn't paying attention to anything I was telling her I wanted. I had to repeat myself more than 3 times for her to understand I want plain brown rice, not white rice. The lady at the register very rude. I had a 10th of a cup of red sauce, bag of chips and side of sour cream and lettuce on the side and had to pay for the sour cream and a pinch of what was lettuce. I found me a seat and began to eat but heard nothing but continuous yelling again from the lady doing the grill perhaps the manager, I'm not sure who she was but she is a Hispanic lady yelling at the poor young white guy again that she was belittling earlier, Doing all this in front of customers and not to mention a Garland Police Officer. Very unprofessional is the least I can say about my experience today at this Chipotle off Lavon Hwy in Garland , Tx. Not to mention the portions were very skimpy at this location. I will never go back to this location and if I could give a ZERO Star that's what...

BEWARE AVOID THIS CHIPOTLE LIKE A PLAGUE, JUST GO SOME WHERE ELSE. IT WILL SAVE YOU A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE...

I ordered from this location on uber. I ordered a half and half al pastor / barbacoa bowl. I could count on one hand how many pieces of chicken I received in the bowl. There was barely any food in the bowl. I ordered a large Guacamole as well. As I ate the Guacamole large pieces of Avocado shell and cilantro stems and the leaf was filling my mouth. To the point where I just didn't want anymore. If I had known I was going to leave a review I would have taken more pictures of this horrible experience. The next day I went to the location in person. I waited on line for about 5 minutes without any greetings, once the woman was ready to acknowledge me she grab a bowl and said what do I want. I never told her what I wanted to order she just assumed. She never said welcome to Chipotle what would you like. I explained to her my experience from the day before ordering at this location and she said sorry, but it was in a way like what do you want me to do about it. Not how can I help you. I will never ever go back to this place. On top of the bad food, bad experience it's extremely dirty in this chipotle. I have actually never seen a chipotle so dirty in my life. Forget about my experience, this place needs to inspected. I'm sure it would get shut down. Chipotle is going downhill fast. Places like this are accelerating...
