I took a school group of over 50 children for a field trip to Kids Empire Firewheel. The staff working at the counter were very helpful and friendly. I appreciate their help and polite manners. On the other hand, I would not recommend this place as a field trip for a tax exempt school. The last two years, we had had nothing but trouble trying to sign up and getting information from the corporate office. They would not reply in a timely manner, our reservation was lost, and trying to get an invoice for our records was like jumping through hoops. We went twice in person to talk to the staff, but the manager was never there and they could not help us because must go thro ugh corporate. There is no way to get through on the phone at corporate either. It was very disappointing since our students had a great time at the venue. As a teacher, we must do a lot of advanced planning and paperwork for trips. This experience the last two years was too time consuming and difficult. **response to your reply: Why did you close the request when you did not generate an invoice??? You should have figured out why your invoice did not generate. I went twice in person to speak to a manager, who was never there, even when I arrived when I was told to.She was not there when I called. My coworker called and could not talk to a manager because she was not there as well. When calling the corporate office, you can’t leave a message. Our school secretary requested for you to fill out a form online for our school district so we could have a check printed. You never did that! Then after we did receive an invoice, our school secretary went to pay and they could not find our reservation. After many screenshots and phone calls, we finally got the reservation! This is not worth it. We had similar problems last year when we went....

When it comes to the fun stuff, lets talk about the play equipment! I fully admit i got into the play zone with my child, and surprisingly enough it wasn't sticky, smelly, or greasy like some other places we have been to. There are two slides and a "roller coaster". The first slide is the big pink slide and is for the bravest kids. It is very wide and steep enough to get grumpy dad to smile. The second slide is more of a racing slide. It has five lanes for kids to race down. The lanes are not very wide so the width made me stop because i have a voluptuous lower half, so it's not really parent friendly for those with hippy hips. Next is a scooter "roller coaster" slide. It's definitely not for the wider adults but it is zippy fun. I fit and slid easily and was very thankful for the barrier of foam at the end. There are also coin operated vehicles for the kids to race on. They cost tokens which are a dollar each car which lasts about two minutes worth of riding fun.
All in all my mini me didn't want to leave. It was a great place, and the prices are decent for some entertainment for the kids. They do ask you to wear a mask. You will need to also remember to bring socks (yes you too, Momma or Daddy) because they make you take off your shoes and leave them behind their counter. So you might want to forego wearing those Jimmy Choo's if you don't want someone else claiming them... When you get there if you are new there is a waiver you have to sign because kids do dumb things and can hurt themselves or others. It wasn't crowded at all while we were there. We got phenomenal service, had a great time and went home with a smile....
Read moreYesterday was our first visit to Kids Empire Firewheel and it was FANTASTIC!
My husband and I took our grandchildren - ages 6 and 9 for an end of summer fun day and it was so much fun!
Ingrid checked us in. She answered all of our questions and was so kind.
We ended up being there for four hours! Husband and I were able to sit comfortably and keep an eye on kids and I even went down the 'big pink slide' and participated in some of the play.
We ended up eating lunch there - the snack packs are actually a great value.
All of the employees were amazing! They cleaned constantly - I mean wiping down surfaces, vacuuming inside the play structures, just absolutely spotless!
When my granddaughter couldn't win the exact prize she most wanted in the crane game (a cute little wolf that she just had to have!) one of the employees allowed her to switch out one of the animals she had won for the wolf. Who lets you do that?!? People that are very kind and remember what it was like to be a kid and whose management allows them to start from 'yes'!
There were four games (you use a play card) and all are set to 'play until you win!'. This is how all games at young children's facilities should be set up. Who wants a child to go from 'yes, I get to play this game!' to sadly going home without a prize?
Also - amazingly - every time we made a purchase (admission, lunch, and play cards) we were never presented with an option to tip. In a world that has awkwardly presented tipping options at every single interaction; this was incredibly refreshing!
We will be back! We will recommend to anyone we know. We love having Kids Empire Firewheel as a neighbor and a resource for fun...
