Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Garland

I stopped by the local Sonic on Tuesday which is family night & took advantage of their half-priced burgers. The service was quick & accurate.

Sonic has one of the best tasting cheese burgers around. Maybe only slightly behind Whataburger or maybe it's the other way around.

Update 11/22 I recently returned with a friend. I ordered the cheeseburger and my friend ordered a breakfast burrito. While I was very satisfied with my delicious cheeseburger, my friend was not. She said, "I should have told them no cheese" .

A couple of issues we encountered: My friend was seated in the front passenger position was unable to see the menu I took a picture of it and handed her my phone. I suspect this is a common problem with all small vehicles. The traffic noise on Broadway prevented me from hearing the guy taking my order via the menu/payment sign. This must be common as he quickly came outside and took our order in person. I noticed him doing the same for other customers as well. My attempted payment with Visa was inconclusive. I had to ask if we had paid or not. We hadn't, but no problem; he came to the car and ran the card. We experienced great service. However it wasn't perfect, so I have to deduct 1 one-hundredth of a point for inadequate clairvoyance concerning the cheese on the...

I came with my sister this morning and what a disappointment. My sister orders a double cheese burger combo and I ordered the BBLT combo. Well the car hop arrives and when we open our bags she has a single cheese burger and I have the flattest most saddest looking REGULAR BLT. I ordered the BBLT which has EXTRA BACON ON A BUN. When we brought it to her attention she looked spaced out and confused. She left with the order and when I got my order this time around my BBLT was still not right. Instead of them making my order over they transferred everything from the old blt to the new one. The same three little limp pieces of bacon where just thrown on the supposedly BBLT there was no extra bacon and the bun was flat like someone sat on it. So I still paid full price for a BBLT and only got a regular blt. Like I’m stupid and wouldn’t notice. The only reason I didn’t say anything was because I was running late for work and I just won’t give them anymore of my business. I have read all the horrible comments and I should’ve went with my gut. Sonic is not the same anymore and neither are the employees. STAY AWAY FROM...

So I went this morning and decided on a breakfast sandwich #15 asked if it came with orange juice clearly the drink in the pic....price on board $5.59 my total somehow came to $6.70 as I waited I was like dang that's like a dolla in tax wth?!?!?! So anyway my reciept comes and I was charged $6.19 for the meal then tax so I ask why and was told it's because of the orange juice...so I explain then you should have told me it was an extra charge....but yet clearly it's an orange juice with the meal as it's what I got....just went back this time no reciept ugh for 1 meal and a chili cheese tator tot and shake over $17 and leave thinking I may need to check the receipt again yup not there and asked for ranch cause the meal was the chicken sandwich the $6 something one and yet no extras as needed no ketchup etc and not about to go back just over it bu the way the breakfast toast although not burnt...tasted burnt for whatever reason wondering if yall had a fire recently as yall were closed for like a day and a half but yeah not all good but not ALL bad just it's like whatever the charging is still confusing...
