Texan Donuts — Restaurant in Garland

FABULOUS! If you read my reviews I sound rather picky. Sugar and carbohydrates are very special treats so I will admit if it is not worth wasting my carb count or sugar forget it. My extended family is OBSESSED with maple icing. My first visit to Texan I wanted to surprise my mom with maple donuts for breakfast. Arrival was about 6 a.m. and it seems they have regulars. People were coming in and they knew their regular orders. I ask for maple and the girl pointed out one. Oooooh nooooooo if my family found out there was a one donut delivery I would never be forgiven. Explained my problem. The girl was so sweet. She ask about my mother, her age, etc. Mom is 84 and believe me TEXAN made her day! Employee ask what kind of 🍩. Glazed with maple! She went in the back and told me to give them a few minutes and they would make them. Perfect! I ask for extra icing. Goodness....the best donuts I have ever purchased in my life!!!! Go and tell them what you want. I have returned for my mom and yes they made her special donuts. Do not miss it. Be sure to look for the address. You will love it!

My company orders these awesome donuts that equally as creative as they are delicious! But I never could find out where they are from. I had told my kids and wife about the cookie monster and spider Man designs, and they woke up saying today was the day. So I spent quite a long time searching pictures on Yelp and Google, then finally I found them, Texan Donuts!!!! It was 11:30 when finally walked in the door, 30 minutes till closing on a Saturday... Yikes!!! But the young lady behind the counter was sooooo unbelievably kind she special made both cookie monster and Spidey for my kiddos, not to mention a few other special ones! I was a fan of this place before I even knew the name and how kind the people that work there are, but now, this is the only donut place for me and my family. Loved the cronut too, never had one and it was really good!!! Thank you Soo much for the donuts and the above and beyond...

I have had a lot of donuts, but these are by far my favorite donuts. They are light and fluffy with plenty of glaze. They are never greasy or oily. There is a wide selection of other breakfast item including the breakfast bacon cheese burger which is out of this world. The owner is the sweatiest lady! She noticed my repeat returns really quick. I have been coming for 5 years now. I don’t live around garland so I only get them as a treat when I work out here a few times a month so I buy extra. I bring them home to my wife and kids and they loves them 6-8 hours after purchase. If you like fresh jalapeños she has a great selection of items with soft sweet jalapeño baked in and on them.
