At 9:45 on 5/10 I arrived at Goodberry to find a small line with 2 groups in front of me. Seeing as I was only here for a single scoop of cookies and creme this didn't seem to be an issue. When I got to the counter I was told to "hold on a minute" as the girl at the register turned to a coworker and began whispering and giggling to each other. Then when they finished I was able to order. After stepping aside I began to wait for my order. However, orders were being done completely out of order, and some groups completely skipped over. I seemed that only sundaes and milkshakes were being made. It took each group one by one walking up to the counter to remind them of their respective orders to get them made. Each time this happened it caused every employee in the building to begin laughing. During one instance they messed up the same order 4 times in a row causing one employee to sit on the floor laughing. Where I'm from making mistakes isn't hilarious. Waiting over 35 mins for a single scoop of ice cream and only receiving it after reminding them of the order they skipped, isn't hilarious. The level of unprofessionalism tonight was ludicrous. It was very evident on the prep station alone that no effort was taken in any step of the ice cream making process. Fruits, syrups, condiments, all just lying about in open containers sitting on tables. Coolers being left open to serve melted ice cream. Management seriously needs to consider retraining on all aspects of...
Read moreOrdered online. Waited exactly 8 mins to pick up order (mini concrete), per the instructions on the app, and was handed a white paper bag. Asked if a spoon was in the bag and the kid behind the counter looked at me like I had six heads. I asked again, and he responded with "it should be". Upon hearing that answer I looked in the bag and discovered that there was no spoon. After obtaining the elusive spoon, I sat in my car and attempted to eat the custard, however it was no longer custard at this point - it was merely a custard-y soup. A soup which was filled beyond the limits of its container by a good measure, so when the lid came off it spilled all over myself and the inside of my car. I walked the container back up to the counter, as I was going to request a refund, and the entire staff was laughing. I left my container on the counter, walked to my car, and left. I will never return, and I will relay this experience to everyone I come in contact with for the next 3 months. I cannot think of another time when I have received such poor service, and unabashedly, flagrantly, unapologetically poor service at that. You're better off getting a milkshake...
Read moreVisited this location 30 minutes before they closed on a Saturday. They had people at the window being handed their orders while we waited in the line. When the orders in front of us were given out we approached and were told they were closed. I responded “oh we thought you closed at 11.” She looked at her colleague with an expression of annoyance. She said “we do but we’re out of pretty much everything.” While I understand that can happen, the issue is the approach. She did not ask what we intended to purchase before telling us they were closed. It may have been likely we could have ordered something they did indeed have. At that point I was very off put with their lack of customer service and the obvious reluctance to fill another order. I reached out to the company and was asked to give my information for someone to reach out. Several weeks later and they have still not reached out. I could have forgiven a lack of customer service by employees because that’s not always controllable, but the company’s lack of response sends a clear message that type of customer service must...
