definitely worth it!
Location: easy to find, in a small plaza with parking.
Food: we ordered the golden cabbage and cucumber in garlic sauce as side dishes. Both are very good. Super favorable and addictive. You’ll want to continue to eat them. Then we had the pork soup dumplings. I found the skin to be on the thick side but the soup was good. These dumplings are smaller than the ones I had in the past. Our main dishes were wanton in spicy soup and sesame noodles with minced pork. The portions were perfect for me and the noodles were al dente. I prefer my noodles softer but I enjoyed my meal. Lastly, we ordered ice jelly with brown sugar for dessert. My only problem was the mini mochi. They were hard so had to fish them out before eating it.
Service: very attentive and polite. The food came out pretty fast too.
Price: very reasonable pricing! Checkout the menu!
Side note: they just opened about 6 months ago so it’s a new restaurant and the bathroom is spotless!
Overall: I’m glad there’s a nice authentic Chinese restaurant in the area....
Read moreIt was around 8pm on a Thursday, my wife was working late so I told her to pick up from Yu Noodles on her way home. We've eaten soup dumplings in many places, some from the Michelin Guide, others just holes in the wall. We spent $77 and got 3 orders of chicken soup dumplings, 1 order of pork soup dumplings, 1 order of sticky rice siomai, 1 order of pan fried pork buns and 1 order of the sesame paste noodles with minced pork.
Every last bit of this meal was disappointing. The chicken soup dumplings were RAW in the middle, the sesame paste noodles had no flavor, the pork siomai was extremely dry and the fried pork dumpling was generic and the bun to filling ratio was off. This was truly a let down because my wife, kids and I all love soup dumplings and we couldn't enjoy this meal.
I am giving 2 stars because the gentlemen on the phone, Stanley, was very respectful and offered a full refund for the order. So thank god the customer service is decent. Sadly that won't be enough to keep us...
Read moreHave only ordered take outa few times so far, but the interior is so nice and clean. You can also see into the kitchen while they're cooking.
The staff is also warm and welcoming when you walk in.
The food is really good, and I'm very happy to find a Siu Lung Bao (Xiao Long Bao/Little Soup Dumpling) place so close by. I've gotten the Chicken Leg over rice and it reminds of getting orders when I go to Chinatown. 😊 I do really like the soup dumplings as well, the broth is tasty and the meat isn't fatty or overshadowed by ginger (though I love ginger, it can be overwhelming easily).
My boyfriend is also happy that they actually make the food spicy when you select "Hot". He loves spicy food, and it's been a struggle to find places that actually make their food spicy enough for him.
We want to go back again and dine-in when we...
