Can I give it 10 stars? Best restaurant experience ever. I came here for my birthday with family and kids. I love sushi, so I searched which was the best sushi restaurant in my area. I looked at many reviews and decided this was the one. This was my first time coming here and will be going back very soon! The staff is super friendly. Because we were 18 people, we had 3 servers. The servers don't make you feel stupid for not knowing what something on the menu is, they will explain it to you thoroughly. They check on you often but not too often to where it can get annoying. I called ahead of time to reserve a few tables and although it's not a very big restaurant, they were able to accommodate us. We came into the restaurant with a cake and they immediately took it off our hands to put it in the fridge to keep cool while we ate, and took it out at the end with plates and spoons for everyone. We made sure to let them know ahead of time that we were going to be different checks so that it could make it easier on them and not stressful for us at the end figuring out who is paying for what. The food was delightful!! I ordered sushi and sashimi, great flavors and presentation! Not one of the 18 people had any complaints about the food! They all loved it, including the kids! After we cut the cake, the servers surprised us with sword shaped balloons for the kids! Oh man, that was the cherry on the cake. Completely unexpected and it created a great vibe and made the whole experience unforgettable. I recommend this restaurant 100%. You can't go wrong...

Sushi is really good which is why I keep going back. But my last experience this evening really has me contemplating finding a new sushi spot. I came to pay and pick up my sushi order and saw it sitting on the pick up table. I literally had the same waitress walk past me at least three times and still didn’t acknowledge me let alone say hello. Employees are moving around me and carrying on conversations with everyone else and I really felt some type of way. (I was the ONLY person of color in the restaurant at the time.) After a few minutes of standing at the pick up table which is literally right in front of the door and kitchen and not being acknowledged I picked up my order and walked it over to the kitchen area. Finally I received a “Can I help you” from one of the sushi chefs. I told them I needed to pay and finally the employee at the register who had her back turned to me the entire time takes my payment as dry as can be. I really need businesses to acknowledge the customer and appreciate the fact that I’m spending my hard earned money in their establishment. My money matters just like anyone else who comes to dine in or take out. And now that I’m writing this review and really digesting what just happened I won’t be back. It was actually quite disgusting how I was treated. But I would have been wrong if I took the bag off the table and walked out before paying. I just want to start by saying that I am not a picky eater, but this place was a major disappointment. How it is getting 4.5 stars on Google is beyond me, as that's what lead me to initially try the place.

I came here with my girlfriend and she had the Filet Mignon over vegetables while I had the bento box a sushi appetizer. The sushi that we split was very mediocre and neither of us cared for it. It tasted like they were using imitation crab meat and it was warm, which for the price we paid, is just unacceptable.

The bento box had tempura fried shrimp, white rice, steak, and sushi rolls. The sushi was just flat out bad on the bento box and tasted like sushi from a gas station. The tempura shrimp also wasn't great and while it didn't have a nasty fishy taste, it totally lacked any meaningful flavor. The filet mignon was the best thing on the box and while it looks fantastic in the photos, it didn't pack the flavor I was expecting. It was at least tender, but it just tasted off. My girlfriend also did not like her filet mignon that was on her dish either, so I knew it wasn't just my imagination.

Neither of us liked our meal and for over $70 we will not be coming back. Very unimpressed. I had high hopes because it looked like my kind of place but it really sucked. Plenty of great places that have much better...
