KFC — Restaurant in Gastonia

Worst experience ever!! Do not go here!!! Sent son to pick up 8-piece bucket. We wanted (half X-tra crispy & half original) Mac/cheese & gravy for sides. Was told gravy wasn't an option unless w/ potatoes or order the 12 piece at $28. Declined. He got two Mac/ cheese and was told to wait. 15 minutes later it was ready, he asked for honey mustard and bbq sauce. Again was told we had to buy the 12 piece to get sauce?? He stopped at grocery store and picked up gravy. Grabbed a piece off top(crispy) and it was barely warm. Then my wife brought in the bucket and showed me the 4 lower pieces. Looked like burnt pigeon. That was enough, got up and threw everything in bucket and drove back myself. I explained everything and showed her the chicken. Only explanation was it was a misunderstanding. About the chicken, said it was grilled. I asked grilled what? My thumb was bigger than the leg. All four pieces weighed less than a quarter pound. She did offer to replace, but after all that, no way! Got refund and went to KFC on new hope Rd. Everything to perfection. Called wife and explained what had went on. She being upset since dinner was being delayed over an hour and making 2trips at 30 minutes each..she got ahold of same manager who actually hung up on her.. When she called back a different mgr answered, and after hearing the ordeal that we'd had to go through she said she "didn't care" and hung up the phone too! Pitiful food, service, and...

Cashier did not know how to work the register, and gave me the wrong meat , and my wife also got upset at me for ordering food that sucked pot pie was undercooked when I got home and chicken and biscuits hard . Very inconvenient to have to go back into your car and drive all the way back right ?? ! Idk So as I get back to Restaurant, they denied it was fresh after chicken still had blood when I opened it the manager also took the mash potato scoop some where to wash it that was out of my vision and nothing was wrong with the spoon to begin With . Sketchy huh ?? I they the mash potato after I saw that and requested a new and requested then to use the scoop from a different side . why we even bother to go somewhere where they don’t values there customers that work hard hourly for our low income wages , “ we basically spend 2 hours of our jobs paying for this fast food that makes millions profit daily and they still can’t give us decent hot cooked chicken and clean Mash potatoes . If a million dollar corporation can’t value us people making them millions, then we shouldn’t go to this KFC anymore . Zero...

We've used KFC for large family gatherings a lot over the last month due a family members illness. The last 3 times we ordered the food was wrong, incorrectly prepared or missing from the bags...no straws, napkins, sauces etc. When you call the number to speak with someone the phone is off the hook. Called corporate to complain and that was an absolute nightmare. It took so much of my time to go over everything with 'Lisa' and then she told me I had to be connected to another dept to get a refund. Once transferred, the call was dropped. Terrible service at store level and corporate as well. We will find another restaurant as a source from now on. As an add on...I asked for a manager or district rep to contact me when I spoke to corporate and all I've heard is CRICKETS so far!! It's been long enough. They simply do NOT care about...
