Sal's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Gastonia

Stopped eating here after the 2nd time we ordered after Sal sold it to the these new people! When Sal owned it he was always busy, but now it always looks closed. It's just not good anymore, and I wish that Sal would have never sold it! If you go and read all of the new owners remarks you will find out what kind of people they are and it will let you know that they don't care to improve, just try and come back with smart A* remarks! So I'm waiting to read what you have to say about my thought own your pizza! You really need to change the name on this page or close it because Sal's pizza was awesome and store bought pizza is better than y'all's! You're giving Sal a bad name! I wonder if he's even tried your pizza since y'all bought it? Instead of coming back with smart A* remarks, how about trying to improve your food before y'all go out of business!

FYI! I have ate there since then! It's not good at all, and I don't eat Domino's Pizza either! I go to portofino's they have the best pizza, like Sal's used to have. It's a shame he retired, he should have just closed the business and not sold it to anyone, it's giving him a bad name! I knew you couldn't resist, don't you ever watch Ramsey? He says for the owners not to comment on bad reviews, just to listen and fix things or you'll lose your business! Looks like he's going to be right! Why you think your place is always empty? Look next door to y'all, he's always busy and he always will be busy! He listens and he doesn't reply hatefully or tell people to go somewhere else! He fixes what we say is wrong, but you know what his food is delicious and it always has been and it always will be, because he has a better attitude than y'all do! I called as soon as I arrived at my home and opened the box to see that mess! I was told bring pizza back and we’ll make you another one... to which I informed them I already showered & changed clothes so I wasn’t going to go back out 4. NO mention of refund 5. Because I ordered with you frequently you should know me - I am a woman of my word 6. I can’t tell you how you managed to burn and create a soggy pizza simultaneously - I guess you are just gifted that way 7. This was the last order & money I give to this unorganized, poorly run restaurant. 3 of the last 4 orders that we've placed have been screwed up but I always go back b/c the food was good (although overpriced) until tonight. Tonight I called in my order at 7:06 & specifically asked what the delivery schedule was like b/c that's always been an issue. I was told that there wasn't any delivery orders ahead of mine so I told her to deliver & she said it'd be out in 30-40minutes. At 8:06 I called to check on my delivery & was told by a man that my order was 2nd or 3rd on delivery schedule. I told him what I was told when I placed my order, he said that he was sorry & it would be another 45 minutes before it would be delivered that it was just coming out of the oven. I told him I'd go pick it up & he said it'd be done about the time I got there. When I walk in I see in the back about 5 orders stacked on a rack across from the oven. I had already paid over-the-phone & was charged a delivery fee to which I was 'given' a 2liter Cherry Lemon Sundrop. Once I got home & sat down to eat my stromboli didn't have ANYTHING I had ordered in it (ordered/paid for ham & mushrooms was given pepperoni, green peppers & green olives), the pizza was not even luke warm, the wings were dry & the cold sub bread was soggy.
