Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Gautier

My worst ever Sonic experience. The first at all i went to had a broken red button. I pressed it, and it told me someone would take my order shortly. I sat there for 15 min cause I assumed they were busy. I got inpatient so I moved over to the next stall and pressed the button and immediately got service. So I order my large grape slush, and I pay with my debit card. The car hop theb brings me a medium grape slush and then tells me I haven't paid yet. I tell her i paid with my card already and that I had a large. For some reason the receipt did say it was a medium and not paid for by card, so I assumed my order got mixed up. Obviously I can't leave til I pay for the slush. She checks something on the stall machine and says I didn't pay. So, defeated, I give her my card and she takes in inside and charges it and gives me my MEDIUM slush. (Remember, I had ordered a large.) I thought maybe my card didn't process and went to see if I was only charged once like she said, but lo and behold, I checked my bank, and I was charged for BOTH the large slush I already paid for AND the medium one that I got but didn't order. I must've been to Sonic I don't know how many times in different states over the course of my entire life and I never thought I'd see the day where a Sonic would serve me a disgusting milkshake. That is until I came across the great city of Gautier, MS, which ruined Sonic's good record streak for me. Had my tastebuds ready for that all too familiar strawberry cheesecake creamy goodness, only to be met with a watery iced out mess of a sorry excuse for a milkshake. Not fresh AT ALL! The consistency was frothy and soupy, litte to no thickness, the cheesecake bits tasted old and stale (yes I could still tell even though it was in a milkshake) even the whipped cream on top was gummy and hard rather than fluffy and soft. The whipped cream! The server came out immediately after I ordered, me thinking it was time oriented service, when it was really because the milkshake was most likely already made from a previous order or something and just sitting around waiting for somebody to order it. The worse sonic ever ! Do not go there. I went on 7-4-23 ordered waited 30 minutes went to the door to find out how much longer my order was they told me my order was never taken when I no for certain that my order was the night manager was very rude as well as the gentleman with curly black hair. He told me along with the lady to go back out and place my order again. He followed me to my vehicle still explaining that my order wasn’t taken then he says that the order thing is broke when clearly it wasn’t so he tells me to place it at another order machine I did and that same manager tells me to hold by this time it’s 45 minutes.
