Wendy's — Restaurant in Gautier

We've had the worst experiences at the Gautier Wendy's lately including dinner tonight. They got our order incorrect, which happens just about every time we eat there but they remedied that, however I ordered a taco salad, get it home and it's rotten. And I don't mean a little wilted, I mean smelled sour, lettuce was black in the middle, and everything was slimy. So we take it back, get a new one (that was still a little on the wilted side but edible) but the kicker was when I opened the chili that goes with it, it was beans and large pieces of chopped up, dry hamburger patties, didn't even taste like chili let alone look like it. I just threw the whole thing in the trash after that. The manager's excuse was she 'had a kitchen full of teenagers'. That may be true but the manager is responsible for the food coming out of that kitchen so she should have known the salads were rotten and the chili wasn't even chili. Think we'll give that place a break from our business...

This Wendy's appears to be new and I love the interior. Lots of varied seating options. If I was local I would gladly meet business associates here for a quick bite / meeting. I can only hope we get one this nice back home.

Food quality was ok early in the day. Wendy's has always been a good place to stop for a cheap meal. The taco salad that they've brought back is a disaster but the 4 for $4 meal is always a pleaser.

The only reason the location didn't get 5 stars is because the employees were busy chatting while the lines stacked up including a shift lead/ manager who was in the lobby talking to an employee who was sitting at a table possibly not clocked in or on break eating. The conversation was in the tone of complaining about another employee or mutual acquaintance (manager to seated person in uniform) with several expletives being tossed around casually by both employees. 🗣️ Zero Customer Service I decided to stop by this evening because I didn't have time to cook.

The gentleman who took my order had ZERO enthusiasm! After placing my order, I made it to the window to make my payment, and the young lady NEVER greeted me. I handed her my card, she completed the transaction, handed the card and receipt to me, and she NEVER said a word!

I made it to the window to collect my order, and the gentleman who handed me the food, NEVER said a word! As I waited on my drink, the female who handed it to me, NEVER said a word!

Aside the horrendous interaction, or the lack there off, the food was great, and this is the only reason I have 3 🌟.

Gautier's Wendy's MUST do better! The town is small enough, and there isn't much to choose from. Let your place as a choice be well worth it; there's a few other fast food restaurants to choose from, but I chose you....
