I wish I had something positive to share, but I do not!
On Friday June 26, 2020 our families chipped in for a couple pizzas.I called the order in and was told it would be ready in an hour. 45 minutes later a storm came in. My wife had to take two detours due to flooding roads but arrived an hour later on time. They informed my wife that they had no order ready because they lost power. Understandable, but disappointing.I never got a respectable courtesy call informing me of the fact. we live 25 minutes away, at any point i could have contacted my wife and told her the order was cancelled.Common courtesy to a customer, with two pizzas ordered. My wife would not have been inconvenienced, our hungry family was waiting for dinner.This is NOT the way to treat a customer, not even close. This isn't even the sore spot! Today is July 21st. I have called on 4 different occasions to get a credit for the money I paid with my debit card, including the generous tip i included, and i have dealt with people that do not even know how to deal with a customer. They took my payment immediately debiting my bank account. I called three different Rosati Pizza stores and they all tell me that my card could be credited immediately, worse case scenario 3 working days. It has been almost a month. I call and no one resolved the matter to this very day! I am not sure why they think it is not a big deal, but it is to me. I have shown them kindness, respect, never so much as raised my pitch, and nothing. This is NOT OKAY...
Read moreThis place is the best pizza place in Genoa, no argument. The care, service, attention to my crazy requests, the accommodations they accept. All above and beyond. The food itself is always top-notch. I honestly don't really even like Rosati's thin-crust pizza but my personal specific pizza order is highly specialized and they nail it every time. I usually do pickup but when I order delivery it's always hot and fresh and the driver comes prepared with a pen (another place in Genoa regularly asks if I have a pen available... I don't.) One time I ordered my pizza for delivery and asked for it pie cut and the driver showed up with two pizzas... One accidentally cut square and one cut pie... They remade the pizza just because they cut it wrong. I honestly wouldn't have cared and accepted the square cut pizza but no..... Rosati's in Genoa gives a damn and gave me two pizzas without asking or calling. I froze the leftovers and ate pizza for a week. Keep it up, Rosati's Genoa! Y'all...
Read moreI ordered 2 pizzas online from Rosatis pizza in Genoa Illinois When I went to put my order in it was denied because I put the expiration date in wrong. So I went back in to try again and noticed my pizza one of the ingredients was only on half the pizza. I went in on the pizza to EDIT it and made the change and put the order in. The amount that shown for the pizza was correct on my end it was $51 and some change. Went to pick the pizza up and now they had 3 pizzas and it was over $85. They gave me both versions of the pizza I edited and when I called to ask if they could change it they said basically too bad we can’t help you and you are now stuck with and entire extra pizza that I didn’t order or need. So thanks for your help Rosatis pizza. I will not order or recommend to anyone. Paid over $85 dollars for pizza I couldn’t eat. Also they charge a fee when you pay on line it’s very pricey. Also knowing there was a mistake with the online ordering and did not rectify...
