I have stopped at this location on my way to Myrtle Beach for 30+ years. I was on a trip up because my grandmother is dying and we stopped on Christmas Day so there weren’t many things open. There were only 10 people in the store and only one other table with any other women. We were thankful to stop because I felt sick with the stress of my grandmother for the last week. I had gotten a new iPhone X as a birthday/Christmas gift and placed it on the toilet paper holder so it didn’t get wet or fall. Needless to say I left it. I realized within 10 min max and when I came back inside to look for it, a manager was in that stall. I asked her when she came out if she had seen it (as I heard her messing with the toilet paper & taking forever!) and she defensively & very snippy said she hadn’t. I asked the cashier & no one was the slightest bit helpful & were borderline rude. We called the police & the same manager told the police officer she wasn’t able to let him see the video and he’d find the manager who could working tomorrow (now today). In the meantime a girl who works there was watching ALL OF THIS go on & happened to just be there eating with friends. She (Zarria) was lovely & is an asset to any company & definitely this McDonalds! Anyway. Today the police tell me they have gone back to meet the supposed manager who can show the video and guess who’s there? The same manager who was in the stall and wouldn’t let the officer watch the surveillance video the day before! Again she tells him he can’t see it and to come back another day! He’s now off for 2 days and any chance of finding my phone is dying by the second. I only want the phone back as it has memories I cannot replace. I even offered a reward if anyone finds or navigates the phone back to me. I plan on calling today to ask for the store owner’s name & store number to report this manager to corporate. Your job is to keep this establishment and its patrons safe & happy. To be rude, unhelpful & even deter the police when conducting an investigation makes it look like McDonalds not only cares less if your belongings are safe there, it makes you look guilty of being involved in the...
Read moreThis McDonalds is just about any other one but not when it comes to service or food quality. Me and my grandma had both ordered a Bacon, Egg and Cheese biscuit and 2 iced waters, however when they gave us the biscuits I noticed my grandma had 2 pieces of VERY small bacon in her biscuit but once I looked in mine, I also noticed I only had bacon! it was a surprise Bc I hadn’t ordered a bacon biscuit. Yeah, just plain bacon and biscuit not even cheese or any eggs at all, they only responded correctly by fixing it just because we told them their mistake. Also, once they gave me the new biscuit it was somewhat hard for its texture and was either old, not baked evenly or correctly or lack of patience. This shouldn’t happen and they think they can get away with it but they can’t. If I was manager of this place I’d be looking out for what my employees do and consider to start firing people. Other than those problems the environment was good and the quality and everyone was nice and the other parts of the food was good as well and the overall quality of this place was a 70% or 60% and was mediocre. The manager needs to instill hard work and more knowledge to this restaurant if it wishes to succeed. Do better McDonalds because I actually like some...
Read moreMy family and I were headed back home tonight and decided to stop and get two coffee drinks. The girl who took our money was very pleasant. The second window girl asked us to pull up to wait on the caramel macchiato. After seeing 8 cars go past, we backed up (because we couldn’t go in the restaurant due to construction) and the girl yelled past the car at the window that it would be out soon, so we pulled back up to “the waiting spot.” 3 more cars passed by with their orders. we no longer wanted the drink and wanted our money back. We backed up again. My husband said “I want my money back.” The girl said she’s coming out now. They said they walked around looking for us which is ridiculous. My husband simply said “I don’t care, I want my money back.” The girl at the window said that he didn’t need to give her attitude. She was the only one with attitude tonight, and I’m appalled that it had gone that far. Long story short, we waited 13 minutes for a caramel macchiato that we never got, had to argue to get a refund, and will never be back! I wish I could give no stars, but the girl at the first window deserves something... where was the manager...
