First time customer ordering takeout taco salad. I always check Mexican restaurants for their taco salads because my wife is vegetarian and a substantial taco salad with crisp vegetables, black beans or refried beans, and a good salsa is the only Mexican food option acceptable to her. I fully acknowledge that taco salad may not be an authentic Mexican dish but a good one is my ticket to getting authentic Mexican when we order out. I ordered a salad from Los Arrieros since they included one on the menu with a picture that looked decent. Unfortunately, pictures don't represent taste, and I was disappointed. My salad came in an average size shell with pollo/chicken pieces that tasted like they had been simply boiled with no seasoning. The killer for me was that this all came swimming in about a half inch of queso-like white soupy liquid collected in the bottom of the shell. I've had some terrific taco salads but this was not one of them. This was my first visit and a take-out so other aspects of the restaurant like service and atmosphere are purely speculative.. I'm not disparaging any of the hard working people behind the scene but this concoction just didn't work for me. My search for a decent taco salad in the Georgetown...

My husband & I decided to try out this Mexican restaurant yesterday to compare it with the other Mexican restaurant just down the street that we had eaten at last month. When we arrived there was 2 other tables with guests looking over their menus. So we knew we would be waiting a little while for our food once we ordered. Not a big deal. The hostess brought us chips & salsa and the waitress brought us menus. The waitress didn't say much, she appeared crabby. I noticed my menu was dirty with food on it...yuck! I ordered fajitas & it arrived first, all but the shrimp & veggies platter. Once the shrimp arrived, the rest of my food was cold. I had to ask for utensils. Later that night I got sick (diarrhea) & early the next morning my husband was sick as well. Not a good experience & we won't...

These reviews have to be paid reviews. Place is a recipe for food poisoning. All food came out cold & under 2 minutes from ordering. No way they could cook steak fajitas, chimicangas & carnitas taco & have them plated & to the table in under 2 minutes. All food & sides where cold or steaming from the microwave. Even if the have food precooked it has to be held at a certain temp to keep foods bacteria free. We didn't even eat out food. Still payed $38 just cause the management is horrible. We'll never go back. Customers beware . Oh by the way...these good reviews have to paid for. Strange how 90% all say...

Not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but service was fast and friendly. They had plenty of options on the menu. I did like their salsa bar which had about 10 different types of salsas, two different types of pico de gallo, limes, fried jalapenos, etc. The restaurant shared a building with a small Mexican specialty store, which was nice because we picked up a couple of Jarritos sodas while we were there. #losarrieros #mexicanrestaurant #salsabar #georgetown #letsguide Please click the >> 👍 << below to LIKE this review if you found it helpful😊✔

AMAZING, just the place I wanted to find in my new town! Every person in the building is kind and helpful. Margaritas are fantastic, beer is cold, food is awesome, and a salsa bar. There is even a great little package goods store attached. My son loves everything about the place, but mostly the churros. I've been twice in a week and I'm looking forward to the next visit.
