Rotunda Bar and game room — Restaurant in Georgetown

Driving home from Austin I just happened to see the place on the east side of I35. Initially I liked the design of the shopping center and happened to see the corner i.e. Rotunda Bar and Patio. The wife wanted to go out and I told her let's go check this place out. We made the 30 minute drive, parked, and found 2 seats at the ba, got here at about 10:30. The place is real nice! Very relaxed vibe. Two bartenders were slinging drinks, place was full of dudes with only a handful of ladies. We asked for a cocktail menu and was refereed to the vertical monitor that only displayed shots. Not really interested in shots as much as cocktails, but neither bartender could offer any. We order some simple drinks, and stayed until last call, 11:45 ish. Leaving we circled the parking lot as I was interested in the building and saw why there was probably a high proportion of guys: place is parked between two truckstops! Not a bad thing, as everyone in the place was cool and enjoying the vibes. Reason for the low score is no cocktail menu, no attempt to offer cocktail, and took a minute to get served. Nice, New bar in Jarrell. Good clean atmosphere inside with a large covered outdoor patio in the back. The owner was onsite and very inviting and open to feedback. Music playing had a good vibe and was classic rock. Volume was just right, loud enough to enjoy, and still be able to have a conversation. A wide variety of beer (draft, bottles, and cans) and alcohol are available. Staff and bartenders were friendly and very attentive. We did not have to wait long at all at the bar for service and our drinks. We plan on going back! It's good to have another place to go. I actually really enjoyed this bar a lot, however, I feel like the bartenders made me feel like I was unwelcome. When I asked for a drink recommendation that was a promotion on the screen, she responded rudely saying “I Don’t Drink.” The establishment is very beautiful and clean. I was really surprised that the bar was nice and other than the bartenders making snide comments, and acting like we didn’t belong, we did enjoy ourselves. The owner was personable and polite, and took the time out to talk to my boyfriend and I.
