I am so disappointed with my visit today. In total, I spent $60 on a clear acrylic fill with a French top polish. One pricing book listed this service at $35, while another book at the register listed it at $45. When I pointed this out, they quickly tried to tuck the other book away instead of addressing the discrepancy.

On top of that, I spent another $130 on two Hawaiian Pedicures for my husband and myself. The experience was anything but relaxing. The person I believe to be the owner was on speakerphone the entire time, talking loudly. Halfway through, my tech also took a call—also on speakerphone. Both were loud, unprofessional, and incredibly disruptive.

My husband received a better service than I did. I did NOT get:

Callous removal Sugar scrub A decent massage

Instead, my tech, distracted on the phone, rubbed my skin raw without lotion or oil, leaving me uncomfortable and burned. I left with polish on my skin, two flooded cuticles, and unfinished feet. For a service that was supposed to feel like a treat, it felt rushed and careless. Even the Tech that was working on my husband kept side eyeing my Tech because he was distracted and skipping things.

In total, I spent $190 on services plus $40 in tips, only to leave in tears. Times are hard, and we saved up to treat ourselves. Instead, I came home and had to fix my own callouses and remove polish from my skin.

When I expressed my frustration at the counter, I was brushed off with: “SORRY. NEXT TIME WE WON’T BE ON PHONES.” No accountability. No apology that mattered. No attempt to make things right.

This was not only a waste of money, but a complete lack of customer service and professionalism. Sadly, I really liked this place before, but after this experience—hard pass.

These pictures are taken the day after my appointment for acrylic nails. This is the second time I had had my nails done there the first time there was a gap between the tip and the natural . Top-right picture.) debris had settled between the natural nail and the tip. Instead of removing the nails to correct the problem they added more acrylic on top making the nail bed two different colors.( top-left picture) You can see my natural nail from the side below the acrylic nail.( bottom left picture) And the shape of the nail was not uniform ( two pictures in the bottom right corner.) I have an appointment today with the owner to help me resolve this and I may change my review after the outcome of that meeting. I just left my appointment and her solution was a 30% discount on a new set. I declined. She stated she would remove the artificial nails. She did not state that she was going to charge me $10 for removing the unacceptable nails until I was ready to walk out the door. She said that she cannot honor a complimentary set because I should have called immediately. I have a 5 year old and today was the first day that I had time. Which is exactly the reason why I took the pictures the day after I was there. A picture is worth a thousand words, shows the outcome when I left there. Regardless if I called immediately, I would not have been able to come back until now. I do not recommend Venus nails to anyone. I was walking out the door she was very insulting, speaking loudly and unfavorably with the rest of the staff. Very unprofessional for the clientele...

They are not good at all a couple of problems first off I showed him a picture of what I wanted they put peach instead of the light pink for the natural nail color did black tips with a strip on them also ask for more color they didnt then tried to charge me a extra 20 for them I asked them why was it so much the prices are right on top of the desk where they do your nails, so I pointed that out to them. They did not want to give me my money back. I had to stand there and tell them and show them what they did wrong, they gave me $10 back. I tipped them on credit card and then they kept the other 10 for tip but I had already tipped them. They said no no we keep 10 we give 10 back no she didn’t want to give me the money back I had to get a strong voice on and told them they didn’t even do what I asked and they’re overcharging me. She wanted to argue about it. I told her just give me my money so I can leave didn’t wanna do that so they’re rip offs they don’t do what you ask even with a picture I told them I will never be back. I just moved to this town, so definitely do not go there. They are very rude so make sure to pay attention to the prices. If y’all do go there fair warning they are not...
