American Deli — Restaurant in Georgia

IF YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY PLEASE DON’T GO HERE. I don’t know if these people know the seriousness of a food allergy, but if they don’t, they should not be running a business. We placed an order over the phone and specifically asked for there not to be a topping on there due to an allergy. When my boyfriend picked up the order, he noticed that the receipt showed the topping on there. He asked them to make sure it wasn’t on there. When he made it home luckily we opened the burger, and found remains of the topping we specifically asked them not to add to the burger twice. They simply scrapped it off. I gave them a call to let them know what was going on and I specifically told her I would not leave the house (as it had already been an inconvenience for us) and I would just throw it away. The person I spoke with apologized and said they would remake it and took down my contact information. Close to 5 minutes later this same person called back and asked me to bring the item back whenever I go get the CORRECT order. It’s seriously sad that regardless of already having inconvenienced us, they are also asking me to keep an item (that’s already in my trash) until I go get a replacement. Placed an online order , come in due to a wait to grab the order . Witness another customer walk out with my order and came back in with all the food containers opened and said oh this you , I said yeah I believe that was my order . I assumed they would remake the order before attempting to hand me something that went out the door but ooooo no surprisingly she closed all the containers tied the bag and tried to hand it to me . I said absolutely not how dare you hand me an order that went out the door with another person . I received a so called remade order no apology nothing just was it made over . This place is unprofessional and needs better training on food handling safety. If in the mood for American Deli, DO NOT go to this location. American Deli is known for their great wings so this review is more for the customer service than the food itself. TERRIBLE customer service. The short dark haired woman is extremely unprofessional and rude. Asked for no salt (for medical reasons). Clearly that was an inconvenience because when I got home and opened my food, EVERYTHING was covered in season salt. Not just my fries, but my ENTIRE plate as if it was done on purpose. Way more seasoning that even a normal order. When she brought me my food, she smirked, shoved it to me, and walked off without saying another word. Go to another location.
