My family and I are regular visitors to this Bruster's location and have always enjoyed the delicious ice cream. However, our most recent experience left us disheartened.
We arrived close to closing time due to a misunderstanding on our part, and chose to order from the walk-up window to avoid holding up the drive-through lane. Unfortunately, the young man serving us was visibly annoyed and his demeanor was less than welcoming. His facial expression and attitude made us feel judged and disrespected.
While we were trying to make our orders as simple as possible to ease the workload, the same employee slammed our final ice cream on the counter and it was poorly served. This was a stark contrast to the usual courtesy and professionalism we have come to expect from this establishment.
Thankfully, another staff member was polite and efficient, which somewhat compensated for the unpleasant interaction. Still, the overall experience left a sour taste in our mouths, quite literally.
I reached out to the management directly with my concerns but received no response. It's disappointing as we love the ice cream and would like to continue supporting the business. We sincerely hope that this feedback will lead to improvements in customer service.
Despite this incident, we plan to return in the hopes of better experiences in the future. We believe everyone can have an off day, and we're hoping this...
Read moreI love their ice cream. Most of my family debates that Culveres is better, but Brusters is cheaper. And as a icecrem lover Brusters has my favorite flavors, birthday cake, cake batter, and cookies and cream. I read some other comments and they said that the serving size has decreased. Im over here like, "say what", because that's not true to me. I go to brusters mostly because of their generous scoops. Im over here like, "do yall expect more??". I mean it's about supply and demand, ok? They have a lot of icecream, but they can't go around giving out truck-loads of ice-cream for 4 bucks. That would only help the custumers. I mean, they would love to help, but they would go out of business if they started to increase the amount of ice cream on their cones. Hopefully this is...
Read moreI’m really hopeful this is a fluke. Just ordered and the portions were dramatically less than usual. Supposed to be 2 scoops but they honestly added up to just barely a single scoop. This place is usually amazing and we’ve had great experiences. I really hope this was just an anomaly, the ice cream tastes great as always. If they’re trying to protect their margins, just raise your prices and let us decide to purchase or not. This feels like a trick to make you think you’re getting the same value when you’re not. Again, hope it was a fluke, because we really enjoy this place.
Update: ordered again and this time, the portion was back to normal. Just going to count the previous issue as a fluke. Still a fan and have to give credit where...
