I haven't set foot in this restaurant in over five years. My first experience was supposed to be my last but I figured I'd try again. The first time I went, my chip on my card was not working and the manager would not let the girl at the register slide my card because it was going to cost them money. I walked out and the customer behind me walked out also. Today I decided to give them a second chance against my better judgement. The transaction went through fine and when my food was ready, the associate bagged my food and double knotted it. Most takeouts I go to show you the food before you leave so that was a red flag. One thing I ordered was the four piece whole wing with fried rice. When I check the container, there wasn't a whole wing in site and I didn't get eight pieces either. When I questioned the lady, she said I ordered the "other size". The four piece is the smallest option they offer so I was confused as to what "other size" could I have ordered and if you cut a whole wing in half you don't get an odd number. My bill didn't reflect the "other size" either. I should have listened to my gut and took my...
Read moreFor starters I'd never gotten the opportunity to eat at China Inn. Just happen to drive and park in front of this restaurant amidst many others and thought to myself I wanted Chinese food. Due to experiencing lower back pain, I decided to call and place a to-go (carry out) order with China Inn for shrimp fried rice and wonton soup, which came to $13.67 conveyed by the male who'd taken my order. But then... The phone abruptly disconnected before... (what I perceived "what occurred, I wasn't done talking) before completing the call. When I called back for the second time, the same male answered. As I attempted to explain on the first call being disconnected, while I was talking, the male's voice increasingly elevated (seemingly frustrated or irritated) as he reiterated the list of my food choices and cost. At this point, I decided to cancel the order due to the reason of a lack of customer service etiquette and/or professionalism shown verbally by the male employee/owner. Instead, I'd taken my...
Read moreMy family and I eat China Inn religiously. Every week we eat at China Inn and sometimes twice a week. We typically order the shrimp and mix vegetables or shrimp and broccoli. We have also tried the sweet and sour chicken, braised wings, orange chicken, and honey chicken. All the mention entrees are great. We love the shrimp friend rice because it taste fresh and is made cook to order. The reason China Inn recieved 4 stars and not 5 is because they can do better with their consistency. Some time the shrimp and broccoli sauce taste different and sometime when we order the ribs they are burnt. But they are always willing to fix our order and always apologize for the inconvience. Give China...
