Smoothie King — Restaurant in Mableton

"I used to be a daily customer at Smoothie King, but after my recent experience, I won't be coming back. I am diabetic and have been trying to make healthier choices by ordering smoothies with sugar-free ingredients. However, the last time I went in, I was told that I would have to pay extra to substitute regular strawberries for sugar-free strawberries. This has never been an issue before, and I was surprised to hear that they were unwilling to accommodate my dietary needs without charging me extra.

As someone who thought Smoothie King was here to promote health, I was disappointed by this experience. I had always appreciated their selection of healthier options, but now I feel like they are just trying to make a quick buck off of their customers. It was the older gentleman who told me this, and I found his lack of empathy and understanding concerning.

Overall, I would not recommend Smoothie King to anyone who is looking for a place that truly cares about promoting health and accommodating customers with dietary restrictions. I will be taking my business elsewhere...

Now I know why they have low reviews for this specific location. I ordered online which gave me a 10-15 mins pick up time. Drove to this location 20 mins after my order and still had to wait another 20mins before the agent start making my order. She was the only person working so I can't even fault her. There were 6 people there just waiting. 2 customer asked for a refund because they couldn't wait any longer. And 2 extra customer walked in but left after waiting because she couldn't get to them in time since she was making order. Management needs to do better! How can you have one person making food & running the cash register at the same time. You know if her hands are in gloves she actually cannot take them off in the midst of making the smoothie then touch the register then having to go back to making the smoothie. This is ridiculous! And as I said, I'm agent is not at fault because she can do so much with what she have working with. Smoothie King is cheap to not hire...

I frequent this location because I’m literally 5 minutes away walking, at least twice a week it’s something (I was ordering 5-6 times a week) they just can’t get it right I usually order online and 9/10 times my order has been handed out b4 I get there but today after being 10 minutes late to pick up my order it just was never completed I asked for a refund and wasn’t able to receive that either after contacting the store manager who would get around to it I still have yet to receive a smoothie or refund I’m baffled at the service I have received over these last few weeks absolutely horrible needless to say I will never visit this location again they most definitely need to be properly staffed and definitely a better system so “somebody must have took ur smoothie “ isn’t the answer the customer is being told after waiting over 30 minutes… Fridays are definitely a disaster please tighten this...
