Come Take a Bite Jamaican Cuisine — Restaurant in Georgia

I visited this establishment 7/21/20 and was very displeased. This place not only lacks in customer service but also in safe sanitary practices during this pandemic. None of the workers wear face mask while preparing food. Customers are not obligated to wear face mask nor social distant to enter . Cooks walked in from outside and did not wash their hands prior to entering kitchen and none of workers wear hair nets while prepping and serving food. Front line food prep workers is wearing golden slides (slippers). The woman was handling money at the register and prepping food for customers without changing gloves. This was my first time at this establishment and I was disappointed. In my opinion , this business is a big risk to the community in this pandemic and I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to maintain optimal health during this pandemic. I was referred to this establishment by a friend and after leaving I was obligated to report this business to the proper channels due to their unsafe practices. I work in healthcare and will ensure that this establishment implements safe practices while serving the public. I literally threw my food in the trash where it belonged. Not good at all .GO TO...

I'm just going to accept the fact that Jamaican restaurant servers are rude. The long and true story is if I don't like being treated rudely then I Should not eat jamaican food.. at least nit here in atl area. I ordered the curry chicken. It just tastes like some baked chicken with thick curry paste on it. no flavor other than a lot of hot Tumeric. I was so disappointed cause I love Jamaican food And I was very hungry! There was some dried out cabbage at the bottom of the PAN but she said "we don't have anymore unless I make Some more" I said I'll wait for fresh cabbage All the while she was on her earbuds speaking Patwa. Going off and someone because it has been over 4 months for something or another and she said she was pissed. I don't know, maybe. It was "mad" food. You're not supposed to cook when you're angry unless you eat it yourself. I am not exaggerating when say the macaroni was extra dry so I opted out. The food is great. The portions are great. Everything is good to me, but the attitude towards different people of other demographics is kind of unnecessary. The elderly lady behind the counter got annoyed everytime I added something to my order, which was two things, gave me the death stare from the get go, and would mutter what I’m sure are insults under her breathe the whole time and as I walked away. I’m Hispanic, speak fluent Spanish, and have black Hispanic blood relatives. I think they think I’m white, but they shouldn’t be too quick to judge. It shouldn’t matter if I was to begin with. Too much hate going around as it is. You should be loving your customers no matter what color, because we’re paying your bills. I love their food, but probably the last time I go there.
