I hate to leave this review but it’s been getting to me and I’m not sure how I feel about continuing to eat here. I visit often for the gluten free baked goods & latte- but the baked goods are the star of the show for me. They have such incredible muffins that always taste fresh & they usually have fun flavors like chai and seasonal options like lavender or pumpkin. I have been coming here for at least 5 years.

I usually go through the drive thru but it can get backed up so i went inside on my last visit. I admit I’m not a fan of ordering inside here as the service always makes me feel like I’m a bit of an annoyance by ordering? It’s an odd clique vibe. But eveyone at the window is super friendly every time. Regardless of friendliness - the last visit was jarring when we’d taken our muffins out to the car and I opened the box and realized they’d given us the wrong thing. When we took the muffin back in, it was quickly swapped for the correct one. But the other muffin was put right back in the pile with the rest. After it had left the cafe and been taken to my car. How do they know I didn’t lick it? (I didn’t) & How do they know it didn’t become contaminated? I’ve worked as a barista and that’s always been a huge no-no.

I fully understand & respect the need to preserve inventory but surely this isn’t so common an occurrence that the muffin couldn’t have just gone to someone on staff as a snack?

I’m not giving anything less than 4 stars as I know this isn’t typical, or I really hope not, but I can’t say I’ve felt very...

I just went into this coffee shop on October 6th at 7pm. There was no wait and NO other customers at the counter. First, I was not greeted with a hello or a ā€œwelcome inā€. So I immediately went to the baked goods counter to figure out what I was going to get and figured it out like 30 seconds. A young lady and gentleman saw me walk in and stand at the counter to be helped. They were interacting with each as the young lady was clocking out. The gentleman saw me standing at the baked goods section for about 3 minutes, looked me in my eyes, but never asked how he could help? He then proceeded to clean things and act busy while seeing me waiting to be served. I’m not used to servers not asking to help.

So I stated ā€œis there someone here to help me?ā€

And he said ā€œIts me.ā€

So of course I getting a bit ticked off and I said ā€œI’m not used to walking in here and no one says hello or asks me if they can help!ā€

Then he stated ā€œYeah, you didn’t say anything or that you were ready to order so I didn’t know. So yeah.ā€

Maybe I’m confused but I thought I was supposed greeted and then waited on and not the other way around! Why do I have to be the one to hunt for someone for help?

After a few moments, he started asking me if I wanted to order warmed up or in a bag. Maybe he quickly realized how terrible that was. IDK.

I’ve stopped at this coffee shop like 20 times since we moved to Georgia and I don’t think I’ll be back for quite a while. Food is decent, but the customer service today...

I need a real manager or owner to reach out to me. I probably had the worst experience i’ve ever had with any restaurant/coffee shop ever. I just went in at 7 o’clock, and there was absolutely nobody in there, yet a complete stranger cut me in line and went behind the cash register to fill out his own order. All the girls in there thought it was perfectly OK to be cutting up with him while I stood there waiting to order. Finally, this one girl took my order on a tablet and I proceeded to wait For my order. Mind you all I ordered was an iced coffee, a muffin and an oatmeal. I received the coffee quick, while the muffin took 10 minutes to warm up. These girls were so worried about this one customer who is a regular to where they didn’t even fill out my order for the oatmeal. I told them to not even worry about the oatmeal and I didn’t even want a refund because who knows how long that would take. I am now late for work when all I wanted was a quick stop in a coffee shop. And all they had to say was ā€œoh I’m sorryā€ Without any care in the world. I will personally give the manager my number, but I want to speak to somebody zero stars...

I got turned on to Daily Grind a while back when the owner and I were in a group together. It's a relaxed and warm place bursting with all the smells of fresh ground coffee. Daily special brew and seasonal blends available in addition to regular, decaf, and expresso options. The food is amazing. It's hard to say no to the oversized cookies, scones, and muffins, but the sandwiches are also delish. I love the croissants but arrived too late in the morning on my last visit. They were sold out, so I opted for a breakfast wrap and it was excellent. The place was filled with small groups and plenty of solo workers on their laptops. The drive through line was busy during my whole stay. I opted to grab a table and catch up on reading while I was there. Comfortable space with no one lurking for your table or making you feel rushed. The staff is great and helpful with a recommendation when you just can't decide! PS- they have a small outside seating area too.

Great coffee and even better bakery items. Been coming here since they opened. They have so many gluten-free options! The gf chocolate chip cookie is decadent. The gf cranberry orange scone is perfect. We will continue to support local businesses that offer gf options. You just can't find that kind of selection or service at a national coffee chain- which is why I don't bother with them anymore.

I def will not be back, I ordered a latte that was completely watered and their $10 chicken salad sandwich that was served on croissant that tasted like cardboard with a tiny scoop. Tried to speak to the manager about it and apparently they don’t work on weekends and the teenage girl who answers the phone with an attitude could care less so basically a complete waste of time and money.
