Davis Love Grill — Restaurant in Georgia

My wife and I go to Davis Love monthly at lunchtime with a group of friends. In the past, our experiences have been wonderful. Not so today! Today, the experience was a disaster. The service was slow due to inadequate staffing. There were multiple errors in the accuracy of delivery of what was ordered. Examples of this included ingredients in salads that had specifically been requested to be excluded, non-delivery of ordered beverages, severe delay in the serving of our meals, and prolonged checkout process. Had fabulous hamburger and the best onion rings ever. Don’t be mislead, they have a menu filled with great choices. The ambiance is very nice, we like sitting at the bar when it’s just my wife and me. Decor is lots of dark oak, very country club feel, and even though this is part of the Sea Island Resort, this particular venue is open to the public, as is the adjoining golf shop. We came to visit Georgia, celebrating my birthday, and stopped here for lunch. Our waitress (Maddie) was great, sweet young lady.
