De La Villa Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Georgia

Every time I come there is an issue. I order the Burria Tacos extra crispy and they always come soggy. I order with beef and it’s goat mixed inside like I don’t know what goat tastes like. Most times I just throw it away, and don’t even bother with the “we’ll fix it”. The consome is watered down. Today we order the same thing, and find tacos with paper inside. (Last straw) We were told not to order again and that We’re the only one with the problem .out of EVERONE else🧐...like expecting to get what you pay for is some far fetched idea. And being treated with respect is even more far fetched....you could clearly see the paper in the taco. You could clearly see the soggy tacos, already squeezed limes etc....God forbid being black means you get subpar service and even worse food. Stay away and go the extra miles to Riverdale where you won’t have...

This place is delicious! To me, it often gives the vibe of a lazy afternoon even when they are extremely busy but that is not to say there is bad service. The service is always fast and friendly! They have several menu options from more traditional Mexican dishes to what one would normally find at an American Mexican restaurant. My go to is the torta asada: a sandwich with beef, lettuce, cheese, tomato, avocado, jalapeños, and beans all on buttery toasted bread. I genuinely have a religious experience every time I take the first bite and friends that come here with me often say that I seem to enjoy the food every time I am here; and I do! In short, El Cacique is such a wonderful experience that I’d like to keep it to myself but it deserves to be shared...

I called the restaurant to confirm if they served a specific dish, the woman I spoke with said yes. My fiancé (he has a heavy accent) called to place an order for me and when I got there to pick it up, I am glad that I checked my order before I left because it was not the correct order. When I let the woman know the order wasn’t correct, her body language, facial expressions and her delivery of customer service was terrible. I told her what was supposed to be ordered and she went on to say how expensive the food was. Price isn’t a problem, I pay for what I want but when I recognized both the women’s delivery I decided to just get a refund.
