My family and I came for high tea yesterday, we had the best time! I used to go to tea like this when I was little and I’ve been looking for a similar place for years, this place is everything! It’s decorated so well in a way that is vintage and adorable but not stuffy. They have adorable hats for you to borrow while you’re there too which is so fun. The china they use is gorgeous! Each table has a different china pattern. The china at our table was Royal Albert old country roses. Every time they brought out a new dish to us it was also on the same pattern, it was a nice touch! Our waitress was so sweet, I wish I had caught her name. It got super busy while we were there and she was the only waitress. She handled everyone like a pro, I don’t know how she kept up. We tried 3 different teas while we were there and they were all great but I really liked the Paris tea the most! The Paris tea was a blend of vanilla and caramel. So good. Last, I really appreciate that my kiddos are welcome here! I was recently told by another tea parlor that kids are not welcome. However, at Ferguson’s they offer a kids high tea (ask for this in your reservation) and do birthday parties as well! The waitresses was very accommodating towards my kids too.

The atmosphere and ambiance here is so quaint and fun for high tea! Our server was so sweet and kind. I can only give the food 3 stars though, and that’s generous. We got the high tea. The soup of the day was broccoli cheddar was delish. My daughter has the tomato soup and loved it too. The scones were half dry annd half gummy - difficult to eat, and they don’t have clotted cream or jam - only butter. If you’re going to have high tea - clotted cream and jam are musts! Two of the sandwiches were so awful(cucumber and egg salad). The others were just OK(chicken salad, pimento cheese, and I don’t know what the 4th was). The desserts were also just OK. We had macarons(decent, but I make better ones at home), strawberry cake(the best of the 4), brownies and some kind of red cookie that was incredibly hard and dry. I would go back for the theme for a cute girls’ lunch, but I might sneak in a PB&J. 😂

Quaintly tucked in on the Square in Hoschton/Braselton, is the fabulous Fergusson's Tea room. The Victorian era decor, with exposed brick, looming arched doorways and plank wooden floors set the nostalgic ambiance the moment you step inside. There are tea cups and saucers a plenty, with silver rolled in linen napkins. Hats scattered about on chairs and stands. The food was to die for!! Tea served with scrumtous scones, soup (Tomato Bisque) or salad, and the best finger sandwiches I have ever tasted! Cucumber dill on Pumpernickle, chicken salad croissants, roast beef and swiss (yum) with fruit kabobs and dessert assortments! Treat yourself to a brunch here; I promise you won't be disappointed, darling! #BreakfastAtTiffanys celebration by way of, #BrunchAtFergussons.

I'm so disappointed in this experience. The coffee was bitter, the cream was spoiled and curdled in my coffee, the sugar packets were all wet, the soup was cold and didn't taste fresh. The server barley checked on our table. No water refill and the second coffee refill came after we were all done with the food and pastries. Pointless. When the food finally came out after an hour and a half the sandwiches were good but the pastries tasted processed like they came from Walmart. Not fresh at all. Atmosphere was cute but it smelled funny. Overall terrible experienc and I will never come here again. I had to profusely appologize to my guests about it all. The restaurant was nearly empty and when I asked for the check it too another 20 minutes to finally be free...
