Don’t recommend unprofessional down to the owner! Had a birthday here and me and my people had problems with the owner soon as we walked in the door. Didn’t even know she was the owner how she was talking to us about a $20 fee when 4 of my people was suppose to have wrist bands to get in free they lied once I got there to collect a $20 fee from everyone there was literally 30people there on a Saturday this was not a big event as they claimed. No champagne was giving not only I was having my birthday here I also was a promoter they scammed all the promoters and didn’t pay us. It was suppose to be a red carpet affair event nobody was dressed up except my people! I wanted to call all my people and tell them don’t even bother coming but my friend talked me out of it so I stayed and tried to make the best of it! We ordered food and before out food came out the waitress was desperately begging us to pay our tab as if we was going to run off smh by the end of the night the owner boyfriend got into a fight with a customer outside the club for not paying promoters this whole place is ghetto I’d rather go to lacura if I want to be around this type of atmosphere fyi I do not know the owner period this was my first time meeting. 0/10 would not recommend! It was very expensive to get in for it to be a bad experience. The music continuously pausing between performances that were going on. The waitress was very inattentive to our needs. Continuously walking away when asking for clarification. Prices online did not match the price inside. Hookah on the website states $27 however it was $40! She was unknowledgeable about the flavors she had this night. We tried to order food for her to come back 30 minutes stating it was only wings when we saw other people eating other foods when we entered. Later ordering wings and waiting over an hour to receive the food. We had to pay for the food and drinks before receiving our order. She stated that we were unable to take it off of our bill because it was already being prepared. We were ready to leave but couldn’t until we received the food which was not very good. Went on 9/8 and several cars were broken into during the night. When we got there were told that security was watching the cars. After the incident we were told security wasn’t the lookout. The vandalism may not be the establishment’s fault but if people don’t feel safe parking their cars to patronize Glow Bar they’re not going to return. Also don’t make it appear you have things under control then backpedal when stuff hits the fan. It would behoove the business to acquire security that will actually do their jobs rather than turn away and put their heads in the sand. There are several spots that have beefed-up security every night… you can take notes from them. This used to be our spot but sadly we’re not going to return. At this point no excuses, and don’t put the blame on the customers. Either take the steps that will make people feel safe or don’t expect anyone...
