If I could rate this place correctly I would rate it zero star. This place is racist, they discriminate against latinos, and refused to serve us, they were ingoring us as if we were invisible, and also let my 6 year old child stay hungry until i decided we should leave because we were all hungry. After a long day of work, i decided to take my child and mother to eat pizza and then go to church for bible study. Last night 11/30/2018 at around 6:50pm, we arrived to Johnny's New York Style pizza on 2970 canton rd marietta ga, 30066. We were excited to get there because we love new york style pizza. When we got there, no tables were available which was okay, we would wait. A few minutes later, a group of people left and i said look mom a table just left. Then a waitress in her mid or late 30's with short black hair quickly said,"that table is already taken by someone else". which was okay, she cleared the table for them in a flash and had them sit. We would wait for another table. But then i decided we should just go some where else because my child was hungry. Then my mother said,"no let's wait a little longer." I said okay, then i had gotten a phone call we went outside so i can talk. Then a group of people walked out and we went inside, their table was available. We decided to wait by the door for the waitress to clear the table so we can sit and order, the same waitress just walked around checking the other tables everyone had their food and others were just waiting on their orders to arrive. She just ingored that empty table and us all at once. The other customers would look at us, i felt so uncomfortable and awkward. We finally left because she was not going to clear that table, we went some where else where the staff was amazing. We have not ever experienced this type of discrimination, this is why i decided to write this review. If they dont want hispanics or any other race allowed they should have a sign up, that says no latinos of any kind allowed, no people of other races, only whites and african americans are welcome, thank you. We must love one another as sisters and brothers, as God's children but sadly this world is the way it is....
Read moreMy name is Greg Cast I've been a Johnnys pizza Custumer since 2006-2007. Never had a issue until today. 1-12-18. Ordered to go, while I was waiting came across a friend who also ordered to go. Paid, tip the waitress. We were having a conversation so we decided to eat in. Set down and ate. 10min into our meal one of the cooks came and very rude told us that we could not eat in if we ordered to go. I apologized and told him that it was unexpected but that coming from a restaurant background and also a business owner myself. I told him, "I am sorry man, I understand the waitress might lose some money;however, I will tip her again for unexpectedly using her table. Again very rude the cook said "I don't care, if you tip her or not. These are the rules" and he walked off. Very rude. So before I left I wanted to tip the waitress again for using her table and since she was at the register and the cook was there I asked if I could please talk to him. And I asked him "look, I am not trying to be rude, but it was unexpected that we ate in, I apologized and tip the girl, very well so she didn't lose any money" He replied "rules are the rules if you don't like it, Don't come back" At this point a second cook comes and aggressively talking to me to the point the first cook had to hold him back. To which I replied "sorry man I am not talking to you" The waitress even apologized for them. Seems like they did not have a problem with us eating there but rather I problem with us. I felt disrespected, abused and ashamed to be talked this way when we apologized and did everything to make the situation not escalate. I am an owner of business with four locations and 23 employees. If anyone in my business, speak to any clients in this manner I would terminate him immediately. Y After 11 years of going there, I will no longer visit this place. This behavior is unacceptable, rude and degrading to a person that have been a customer for as long as I have.
I hope this gets to the right person and adequate...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but my recent visit to Johnny's Pizza was underwhelming enough to merit one. We placed an order for a large pizza, garlic bread, and a Greek salad, expecting a delightful meal. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations.
Firstly, the timing seemed promising as our order was ready for pickup at the exact time they mentioned, 5:55 PM. However, to our dismay, the food had already lost its warmth. The pizza, which should have been enjoyed hot and fresh, was disappointingly cold.
The real letdown, though, was the Greek salad. What we received bore little resemblance to what one would expect from such a dish. It was predominantly Iceberg lettuce with a sparse scattering of a few onion slices and around seven cherry tomatoes. A Greek salad is usually known for its rich combination of feta cheese, olives, and a variety of fresh vegetables, but these were notably missing.
Adding to the frustration was the lack of adequate dressing, which left us essentially eating dry lettuce. A good salad dressing can often save even the most basic salad, but in this case, its scarcity further diminished our dining experience.
Overall, it was a meal of cold pizza and an uninspiring salad that didn't live up to our expectations or the standards one would associate with a quality pizza establishment. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe there's significant room for improvement in both the food quality and the attention to what makes a Greek...
