Read more3.13 - Update: I appreciate Kindred reaching out to address my previous review. They apologized for their off night and invited me back. Stephen, the GM, shared they were updating the menu and that the number of servers working is based on their reservations, which makes complete sense. Given today's climate, this staffing model is entirely understandable. I haven't had the chance yet to go back, but I plan to soon. I'm a regular at Oak Grove Market (also owned by Rick with a couple of partners), and seeing him today reminded me of their commitment to quality. Read moreMy partner and I found this restaurant after doing some apartment hunting in the area. We came in at 3:30 PM (lunch ends at 3 PM) for dinner. The restaurant was empty, but we loved taking in all of the art. It’s a very ambient atmosphere. We were served by Stephen (or is it Steven?). He was super nice, great vibes. My partner had the gaucho filet with fries. He loved the char on the steak and our waiter did us a solid by highly recommending the fries. He gave it an 8/10 because the steak itself was on the smaller side and he thinks they forgot to give us the onions with the chimichurri (which cost $3 extra). We didn’t notice until it was too late or I am sure they would have fixed it. The seasoning on the scallops was superb. The corn puree complimented it so well. I am not a big fan of pork belly, but it was so soft and delicious that I loved it. To top it all off, my partner forgot his glasses on the table and our server was kind enough to run them out to us! Perfect place...
