I ll try to keep this review/comment short and to the point. Arived about 8pm .on a Monday.Greeted and seated right away in a warm comfortable setting...tropical vibe. with four total in our party. Staff. was professional and fast. We skipped apps but the list was 5star. We ordered 2 noodle dishes..drunken noodle with sliced grass--fed organic beef. classic pad thai noodle. a fresh seafood panaeng curry and a beef and jumbo prawn in basil sauce two served with steamed or organic brown rice . Each dish was served quickly..hot and was absolutely divine and each carrying its unique flavors and aromas and in size. a fair portion which we consumed in what seemed like 30 minutes ,,one of the most pleasant.and satisfying Thai meals ive experienced in years. The four individuals in our group are all seasoned..experienced veterans in regards to authentic Asian cuisine and everyone was in agreement about our experience at L'Thai Organic Restaurant. All in all our dinner was every bit as good if not better (2voted better) than Surin of Thailand inVirginiaHighlands. and for us OTP NE-enders an hour less of a drive without the crowds and hassle of parking. IMO this place is a great discovery, a gem at the east end of Jimmy Carter blvd.Mtn.Ind.begin on the edge border Norcross and Tucker proper. The next visit for me I wil have more time to sample pairings from wine list and app list respecively. Pricing is fair and average .our bill for 4 adults one glass of wine each including 15% tip averaged out to 22.50/each. Looking forward to dining here again soon..I highly...
Read moreReviewing restaurants is a passion of mine and I travel all over to find new places.. I'm so irritated that I HAVE to leave this place such a bad one.. This was once my favorite restaurant in my local area and I've been SOOO many times but tonight they lost a customer forever.. My hostess was very dismissive and rude.. My takeout portion is literally HALF of what it wouldve been if I dined in.. I've spent tons of money here because I enjoy the food and all I asked for was a small cup of sauce that she'd happily have given me if I were dining in but insisted that she HAD to charge me another $3 for it.. I spent over 50 dollars on my dinner and you can't help your customer out with an extra sauce.. SAD.. She says this and just walks away while i'm still talking insisting that she's not gonna "Argue with the cooks" and that "if she doesn't charge.. they won't cook it".. Who on earth cooks a single condiment size cup of sauce?? It took everything in me not to have her refund my entire order on the spot.. They may not care about ONE person not returning but I can assure you.. I'm going to repost this review on my blog.. None of my friends or local influencers will patronize this restaurant until they learn how to provide legitimate customer service.....
Read moreUPDATE: Gave it another try November 2017 since the husband chose it. Big mistake. The quality of the food has gone down. I usually finish my food, but not this time. I wish I would have spent the $50+ on food somewhere else. Between the previous customer service experience and now the bad food experience we are officially finished with L'Thai. Maybe it is just this location. We always had a great experience at the Atlanta Rd. location years ago.
I'm a big fan of Thai food. L'Thai was one of the Thai restaurants that I would frequent. During a recent visit we ordered our food to go. My husband picked up and I decided to go back inside and ask for to go silver. I was told by an employee / manager that they usually don't give to go silverware to people that order dinner to go. Since it is just a big deal to receive to go silverware with my order I decided that from now on I will take my business elsewhere. I don't need a lecture with my food. Especially when it comes to getting cheap plastic forks with my food. I have spent plenty of money at L'Thai, but not anymore. The food is not worth it. Service...
