La Seafood — Restaurant in Georgia

I have been a patron of La Seafood on 4014 Glenwood Drive since they opened. Why? The food is always cooked to order, so it is always fresh and hot!!. This is a seafood market but they will cook it for you for FREE!! NO Charge not even $1.00. You can either have it fried or steamed. They put the seasoning you want. I love the Salmon, shrimp, perch and steamed broccoli!! This food is so good you will go back. Many customers order the crab legs or lobster. They will cook large orders for you as well enough for a party if you like. This market is super clean, the owners are always friendly. A lot of times in our predominantly African American neighborhoods when Asians own businesses they are not as friendly to us or accommodating. This couple is the best, always very courteous and friendly. I am always treated with respect. They show me they appreciate my patronage. They just told me the plates come with sausage instead of boudin when they advertise they have boudin. After they tried to explain that poboys come on square white bread. That’s a fish sandwich not Louisiana seafood. The worst part is the woman acted like expecting food like they serve in Louisiana was totally unreasonable when they have a big sign that says Louisiana Seafood. I asked okay well do you serve anything here that will remind me of New Orleans. She said honestly you aren’t going to get that because I’m from Boston and they make it different everywhere. actually every other Louisiana Seafood that I’ve visited in Atlanta serves Louisiana-themed food. She said we have French Fries. Why get my hopes up if you don’t have Louisiana food? Couldn’t you have put up a sign that says “Generic Seafood” instead? 5/2024 Update Since the 2 old men have been in here, I've come more often. Cheaper than King Seafood up the street. Love the fried salmon.

First time here. Located off of Glenwood Road in Decatur Georgia. Across the street from Juicy's joint. Next door to Alex Food Mart a barbershop and American wings. Just found this place and wanted to see how good it was. The shop is small but the lady inside is very nice and friendly. Of course there is the mask restriction everyone has to wear a mask when they come in they accept EBT and cook and a very fast time. Minimum order for credit and debit cards is $5.
