I often want to Champion smaller restaurants especially local to my home but this experience was by far the worst experience I've ever had in my 18 years in the restaurant industry. We waited about 40 minutes for our food after asking about it. Typically I'm very patient. I did ask my waitress to ask the kitchen and they bought our food out in styro-foam to-go boxes. Not a big deal as I've worked in the industry for several years and I understand they were getting busy but as I bit into my chimichanga there was a pool of Grease pictured. it was soaked in cold fryer oil.
Came in with my wife for lunch around 1230 there were two people working the dining room, registers takeout, and Cashing Out customers. When we arrived there was only one other table in the restaurant, so it didn't seem busy.
The waitress explained that they had a new cook so I wasn't super upset, just mildly annoyed I was on my 1 hour lunch break and it it now been 50 minutes and I hadn't eaten. I stood up trying to get her attention for 15mins while my wife ate, but they were busy. There I simply took the check waited several minutes to be cashed out ask the waitress if they could take my food off. she politely went to ask the manager or shift lead and which she replied that there was nothing she could do about the grease and that they try to drain it but she would not be taking my food off the check.
I then asked could I have tacos instead as for now I'm already late and I'm very hungry they agreed but then instead Expediting my food an hour plus into eating lunch here I had to wait for several tables food to come out before my makeup meal at no point did a manager or cook even offered a empty apology. I felt like I wasn't welcomed or wanted there. I fell like it showed with how this was handled. She was willing to let me pay for food I couldn't eat.
to my surprise the tacos we're good once I got home and sat down to eat at 2 I'm writing this review because I hope the owner or manager we'll see this and make Corrections not looking for any charity or handouts but again as a former restaurant manager of 18 years it's really frustrating to see restaurants have this level...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe first time I ate here the food and service was great. The second time I placed a online order. I paid $54 I waited about a hour for my food. My Rice, beans and sauce I specifically request were missing from the bag. Now I'm forced to drive 15 mins there and back before eating my dinner. (never ate) I get to the restaurant automatically asked for the manager. I explain to him what happened. He told me they don't give sauce for to go orders because they don't know what sauces I wanted. I asked if he read the order because I clearly put down avocado salsa & red salsa. He was looking crazy like he didn't understand. I have a copy of the receipt that clearly says what sauces I wanted. I've never heard of a taco place not offering salsa for online orders! Never once did they apologize for the inconvenience. Instead they made it seem like I was the problem. He even said it was the driver's fault for not checking the bag. The driver doesn't prepare the orders sir y'all do. The whole time I have the cashier in my face talking smack and not minding her business. Very unprofessional! Trying to argue with me. I had to tell her to mind her business "I'm not talking to you" She is the one who prepared the order. She should focus on getting those orders right. It was 2 burrito combos and four taco's. At that point I just wanted a refund. I told them you can make everything fresh or give me a refund. I was told they couldn't give me my money back. After threatening to call the police a young man stepped in and gave me my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot a good experience at all! I came here on a lunch break from the Basic motorcycle rider course. I asked what was on the taco salad and was told lettuce, beans, rice onions, bell peppers, cheese and avocado, so I ordered a chicken taco salad with no cheese (I dont consume any dairy). The taco salad came out with cheese on it. Then when I told a server about it she seemed to be annoyed or irritated as if I had done something wrong. They took it back and brought out the same salad that they had tried to take the shredded cheese off of, I noticed that some of the chicken still had cheese on it where the cheese had started to melt. I brought it to the servers attention again, she was even more annoyed this time, and asked to make it to go because I only had an hour lunch break, I had already been there over 30 minutes. They took it to the back and brought back out a salad with hardly no lettuce, no beans, no rice, only a lot of onions, bell peppers, chicken, and avocado. My throat and tongue started to swell in 15 minutes! This also threw off my diet because I only eat one meal a day & I do not consume dairy and had to throw out my only meal...
