DONT DO IT! I’m telling you! Do not rely on your own understanding 😂

Listen, these people had to buy the 4 stars they got because a half of a star was even too much.

This was a $15 small rib plate. $15 for 2 ribs without any flavor or seasoning, and it was old. Even my dog didn’t want the bone. You know the food was nasty when you can’t even eat the rib to the bone.

The sides was like two table spoons of baked beans. The food lacks flavor! They had unc on the photos to lure people in. It’s a scam all in itself. The prices, the portions, and most importantly the taste of the food. I had my hopes high being in Georgia OTR.

I was expecting the food to be good.

It was a waste of time, and money. It made me question how one could be in business, but I saw on the reviews afterwards that you have to pay in order to park over night, or buy food. It don’t take a rocket scientist to see that you have to do that to keep the place running. I’m mad for the man whose face is on here because the food is pitiful. The baked beans even tasted like beans straight out the can! No season, no sugar, no flavor, no color, no southern taste what do ever. Like the beans were cooked on the stove hours prior straight out the can and served. (THEY WEREN’T EVEN HOT)! HIGHLY DISSATISFIED is what you’ll be if you don’t go to Waffle House and grab you the All-star special.

Especially for this to be in Georgia. The Brunswick stew lacked southern hospitality my God. My granny would be highly dissatisfied if she was still alive. This ain’t BBQ. And to top it off. The food was not hot, and the the bread was spoiled/sour. The BBQ sauce made it worse that what it already was! I’m so upset. I know for a fact that these people ain’t taste they own food let alone clean the meat. Honestly, if my plate fell on the ground once it was handed to me I wouldn’t have even been upset. I would’ve looked at it as a blessing in disguise!

My spouse got chicken. The chicken was the worst! Mushy slimy skin! I’m not even sure if they know how to cook. I’m so upset I didn’t see the negative reviews before...

Cute little place off the side of the road with truck parking, cute little picnic tables and a few other tables off to the side to dine at if you so choose. The customer service is warm and welcoming, and even though we were disappointed they were out of pulled pork, the ribs were amazing, and my wife and I were glad we got to experience them. Next time I'm here I'll be sticking with the ribs. They melt in your mouth. The BBQ sauce tastes homemade and crafted with love, and the baked beans are fantastic, but have a little spicy kick to them. The potato salad is pretty good, not my favorite, a little bit bland, but I like that... Because you can season it the way you want to. It also has a little spice to it and it's the first time I've ever seen reddish orange potato salad. Don't let that deter you if you like potato salad. I have nothing bad to say about it at all. It is a little pricey, but don't let the prices fool you... You do get a LOT of food. A whole rack of ribs was more than enough for my 300 lb appetite, and I have leftovers.

They're also open late (midnight or later). The only thing I have negative to say about this place is the lot is REALLY REALLY rough, but you'll be okay if you take it easy. That's the semi truck lot. I didn't pay attention to where the cars park, or if there even was car parking lots.

If you're thinking about pulling the trigger and have a hankering for BBQ , this is definitely a great spot. Give it a try. You'll be happy you did. 10/10...

First off, this will be a kind of mixed review. Due to the fact that it's definitely catered more towards the truck drivers rolling in.

So... the food. I had the 5 meat platter because I wanted to try most everything without spending everything. But everything was a bit... dry. So I'm giving it a 3/5. The smokyness and the flavor were great. I liked the wings the most, followed by the turkey and then the ribs. Everything had a LOT of meat on it, especially the wings. But the sausage, however, seemed to be store bought and had a basic smoke added, and the brisket was VERY VERY dry almost to the point of being jerky-like. Which I was definitely disappointed about. Because brisket is a staple for BBQ across the US. The beans also seemed to just be store bought, but the potato salad was great. The BBQ Sauce was tangy and sweet. And although I prefer a lot more heat. I loved it regardless.

Overall, this place has a great atmosphere if you don't mind the idling trucks. The place is cute, clean, and comfortable. Especially for outside seating. The woman working there seemed friendly enough, and she was very helpful and patient with me taking my time to order. I would definitely come back. And if we're comparing food strictly to what's easy to access for truckers, then I would give the food a 4/5... except the brisket. It was...

Back home we have The Nugget Rib Cook Off every year and Ole Rudy's would be easily in the winners circle. In my travels all over the country I try and get the local flavors of BBQ as much as I can. Ole Rudy's is one of my top 5 in the nation. That being said I didn't know what to order so I got the 5 meat sampler, potato salad, beans, sweet tea and the key lime cake. $44 later and I've now got great food for a couple days. Some reviews are criticizing the brisket but it was pretty good today and thinly sliced. The beef ribs were a little to fatty but in the current market it's getting difficult to find lean beef in the south. Every other meat on the plate was good. The chicken and pork probably has the most BBQ taste, very pit BBQ flavored. I really liked the potato salad and would be interested in getting the recipe to try out for myself. The beans don't taste like they came from a can either. I'm not a cake person but the Key Lime Cake was good but real close to having to much sugar in that frosting. Altogether a pretty great meal and the truck parking away from the crowded truck stops was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!
