Polo's Taqueria — Restaurant in Georgia

My husband and I came here for the first time because our usual restaurant we go to were closed or about to close. As soon as we stepped foot inside, all the employees stared at us and we didn’t if we had to seat ourselves or if there was a host to seat us. We were standing there for a good minute until my husband asked one of the employees who told him we can sit anywhere. I kind you not, we waited about 15-20 minutes for one of the employees to come up to us and ask if they already took our order. We placed our drinks and order and they gave my husband a styrofoam cup that had a hole in it. Our order took about 30 minutes to come out and I kid you not I saw our food on the counter for a couple of minutes the employee grabbed it and a customer came up to her and they started flirting. Food is good and authentic. If you need something on budget this is the place. Hence, the service is not that great. Cookes have not been properly trained to cook the entire order for the table at once. I ordered Enchiladas, and the rest of the table ordered food such as fajitas, which I guess are a little more complicated to cook. My enchiladas came out super fast and everyone else's meal came out about 15 mins after my meal. It was embarrassing to be there eating while everyone else got frustrated at the slow cooking, bad service of not bringing all the plates out at once. If the restaurant was to fix the training, this place would get a better review.. frustrating to get one plate, few minutes later another one, then the other meals.. we want to all eat at once.. not watch others eat and we don't know where...

The food yes it's amazing, the service not so much. I know that running a business with family is tough. But that's not an excuse to not serve the customer right. Either is take out our dine in it's still a bad waiting time.

I've waited more than 40 minutes for a plate. If so they should have chips and salsa or something. With take out I've waited the same. Sometimes I go there and they take your food and expect for you to be checking up on it when they should call out the names. They need more experience on serving and attending. But the food there is good!

Tip: if it's the weekend and you are looking for some awesome tacos, head there from like 5pm till closing hours, they take the grill out and omg! Tacos for hours! Seasoned well and if you like caramelized onions and Chiles...
