My experience here was horrible!I made a call in order always being respectful because I want the same in return.Respect.I made the order.Upon arrival the lady Melessia came and told me my total which was 53.64.Fine because we pay for what we want.Once I check my food my steak was not how I asked it to be.I asked her can it or was it possible for it to be burnt.That is the only way my husband will eat it.She said,”yes hun”.So once I open the plate the steak wasn’t burnt.So I asked if it could be placed back on the grill.Respectfully.No attitude or nothing given.I called my husband and said I have to wait on your steak it’s not how you want it.So when Melessia brought it out she didn’t hand it to me,she place it on the countertop.Then she said ,”I’m just going to rebag it.”Once she had taken it back I open the plate still not how I asked for it to be.So if it couldn’t be burnt how I asked why tell me that I can have it that way when it’s not done how I want it.So I asked for steak sauce and Cinnamon butter.She says “Ma’am we don’t have no lemon butter.”So the lady that was about to order said she said ,”Cinnamon butter”.Because she was upset because my steak wasn’t how I asked and I wanted it back on the grill she went around the counter and rolled her eyes!Wow ,how childish.All because I wanted my steak how I asked it to be.Working hard for my money aswell as them.Why would you get upset because someone wants their food a certain way?Aren't you in customer service?If you all didn’t do what I wanted to be done for the steak, it should have been addressed while I was placing the order.So I called the manager and informed him John was the name.Total jerk!He didn’t care! PLEASE BE AWARE ‼️ Me and my sisters were originally going to Rice Bowl, but the truck located on Westover Blvd. was good so I thought I’d try the restaurant. BAD IDEA. So I’m taking my sisters out for lunch , when it was time to pay, my direct deposit hadn’t loaded yet so I told the waiter I’ll give it a few minutes to load, if it doesn’t , my Sister will pay for it . I stepped out to the car to call my bank and they stated that i probably will receive it in an hour. As I’m walking back in , I informed my sister and she was going to pay. Long story short, the manager or whoever came up to us saying “ I need your ID and card, i already have your tag number” assuming we were trying to leave which we weren’t. She was loud , obnoxious and sarcastic. She called Lee County Police On us And was pointing her hand in my sister’s face. Lee County Police Didn’t Let is y’all but listened to her ! Pretty good barbeque. They have four sauces, hot, sweet, vinegar, and mustard sauce. All were pretty good. (Not super thick sauce, but suited to the meats served.) We got the fried pickles for appetizer and they were fried correctly, crispy on the outside and the pickle was still good on the inside. We git the loaded baked potato- it was good. All the fixins included shredded cheese on top of the pulled pork and then butter and sour cream on the side. Husband got the whole hog (?) platter which included pulled pork, ribs and two smoked chicken thighs as well as Brunswick stew and macaroni and cheese. I was disappointed in the macaroni and cheese (I thought it was like stoffers brand macaroni) but the Brunswick stew is pretty stellar. The Tea is strong and sweet, and they do offer alcoholic options. The staff were prompt and service was quick. All total we spent 40 minutes there for lunch. The dining area was very clean and well lit and spaces between the tables were just right. (Not sure if this is a result of the social distancing though).
