The Local Restaurant Dalton — Restaurant in Georgia

My son and I came in for our 1st visit, after a local swim meet. The Georgia game was on, so the bar crowd was very loud. We waited over 15 minutes to order. I finally got up to see if I needed to order at the counter, but a young server came to our table. (My receipt says server was "Valerie"). I specifically asked "If I order an appetizer, WILL IT COME OUT BEFORE OUR MEALS?" and the server said "yes", so I ordered a $15 Appetizer Sampler, 2 entrees and 2 drinks. About 10 minutes after that, we finally got our Fanta and unsweet tea. We waited about 25 more minutes, and an older server along with our regular server brought out all courses at once, and plopped everything down (Appetizer, lasagna and burger). I told her that I had specifically asked when ordering, if the appetizer would come out 1st, and the older server snapped sarcastically at me "I'll let the kitchen know" and stomped away, leaving all the food. I told my regular server that my burger (which I ordered as "medium rare") was brought out well done, and I sent it back. The 2nd burger was also completely brown inside (instead of medium rare), so I just ate it that way. My son's lasagna looked like it had been microwaved for a very long time and had melted all over the plate. The boneless wings also were just melted and smeared all over the appetizer plate. I was hoping that this would be a good place to eat at all of our Dalton Swim meets this season, however we won't be back. I feel that the young server had not been properly trained. My receipt was printed at 4:24pm 11/5/2022. I also waited a long time to pay, and when nobody brought my bill, I finally decided to walk to the counter to pay. I'm still not sure if that's the norm, or not? I left the server 15% on $46.70 (total was $53.70 for 2 people) because I felt sorry for her (and she seemed upset about something), but we definitely will not...

Only giving a 2 because the waitress was nice and attentive. Don't order the wings!!!!! I bought 5 individually and couldn't eat 2 of them. I nicely said to the waitress " I'd really appreciate if you took these 2 off the bill because they're not edible. But the others were fine" ( they were actually tough and didn't taste good at all but I ate em so I wasnt gonna complain about those) She came back and said the cook/manager said he can't help they come like that and wouldn't take them off but would cook 2 more. Well... might need to find a new supplier because I've never in my life been served wings like that. It was hard as a ROCK. No meat and clearly half just bone. The one I did try to get meat off of was black inside...... I didnt even say anything about my son not eating his fries cuz they were bland and mushy. Id say like dollar tree frozen ones but those are probably better. Fed the other ones to my neighbors. I still tipped the nice waitress well but I'll never go back on principle even tho her service was good.

I said that in the review about the 2 wings replaced. I'm not sure why you said that but thanks? That wasn't the point. The problem is thinking it's okay...

I only wish there was a option to rate a zero I doordashed from this restaurant because all the pictures of the food looked so delicious. But I was catfished ..nachos had completely unseasoned gray gross hamburger meat on top of the most underwhelming cheese I've ever experienced.. Philly cheese steak was dry nasty beef jerky on a what appeared to be week old clearance roll found on the oops we baked too much rack at the grocery store... The sampler platter .... Where to begin... The ranch was 90%water. the wings was so dry and hard deep fried pickles could only be compared to playground wood chips I will end this saying the Fry's and artichoke dip was pretty ok but my wife my kid and myself decided to feed the rest of this garbage I over paid for to our dog and let us pray he don't get sick I truly don't understand how this place is in business and hope that someone who actually in charge can do something to improve the quality of product they sell .. I called and talked to a manager that offered no help other then saying that's homemade family food I feel so sorry for what ever family forced that garbage into kids this place could do...
