My wife and I were looking for some wings or a good burger and this place nailed it. Wings were big, tender and moist. She had lemon pepper and I had the sweet red chili. Both were flavorful and properly balanced. I had a single patty burger with lettuce, tomato, mayo and cheese. Again, very nicely done. The patty was cooked perfectly. Cheese had nice flavor (real cheese) and the veggies were fresh. My wife had fries. Well salted, properly cooked and good flavor. We both had sodas as well. With tax and a 15% tip it was right at $40.00. In today's economy, we felt that was very reasonable compared to so many similar places. We would not have been able to eat that much at a fast food place for the same or lower price. Prices were better than chain fast food places with better portions. My burger was $6.00. The wings were $8.99 for 8 wings. Any other place near where I live are charging $1.50 or more per wing. They are smaller, and the sauces not nearly as well prepared. This is true of the many places I have tried that have "Wing" in their names. You order at a counter, food is brought to the table. It came out quickly and was hot. The atmosphere is very casual.

We were very pleased, having moved to GA 3 years ago and not having found a place that served burgers and wings we felt worth going back for, especially for such good prices. We will go back to...

During our visit Friday evening, I ordered a village burger with salted fries and my wife got an order of chicken wings. It took roughly 25 - 30 minutes to get our food, which was totally understandable considering how busy it was that night.

When the server brought the food my wife's wings were cold to the touch and the fries had zero salt. We politely informed the server of these facts. I was told that they had salt at the check out counter (which I had to get up to go get myself).

The manager was informed about the wings and she came to the table and said "what are you wanting us to do?". She didn't apologize and didn't offer to fix the problem. After telling her we wanted our food to not be cold, she said "well it's going to be over 20 more minutes to get hot wings, we are busy".

We asked for a refund for the wings (which hasn't shown up on my account yet), she took the wings, dumped them into a to-go container and dropped them on the table, and left.

Never once apologized or offered to make it right. This is the last time we will ever eat at...

I walked in one hour before closing and was met with blank stares like I was inconveniencing the restaurant. No one said hello or how may I help you. Not one word was spoken to me before I ordered. The person at the register just stared off in to the distance for a good long while. A customer experience begins with the register. The food is good so I will give this place another try but why would I go somewhere like this just to be stared at and not given a friendly “hello, what would you like” or even spoken to at all. It’s just burgers and fries and I can get those literally anywhere else. The cooks and people bringing the food to the table are probably all great and hard workers. The guy who brought our food to the table was nice and asked if we needed anything. All I would have liked to have happened is just a normal human interaction at the counter before I spend my money to support your business. Voluntary exchange of money for services with a smile. Like I said, this place has one more chance for me and I will change my review if it is...

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Cumming location. I’ve ordered from the Lawrenceville location multiple times and have never had an issue, which makes this situation even more frustrating. My husband placed an order through Uber Eats from the Cumming location, where we requested two turkey burgers, as neither of us has eaten red meat in over five years. A few bites in, we both began feeling unwell, only to realize the burgers were beef, not turkey. I immediately contacted the restaurant, and the woman I spoke with was not only unhelpful but also extremely rude. Rather than addressing the issue, she attempted to justify it by claiming they’ve recently started using a “different type of turkey.” This explanation is unacceptable and frankly, dishonest. This kind of oversight is not only negligent but also poses a serious concern for people with dietary restrictions or allergies. I expected much better and hope this issue is taken seriously moving forward. Picture for reference! That definitely is not turkey!

Wife works near here, has eaten here before with co-workers, and since then told me how she would like to return with me in tow because she thought I would really like it as she very much enjoyed it. Finally went yesterday. Very good service, awesome homey feel inside. Burger was meh. Not enough seasoning in the patty, needs a thicker slice of cheese IMO, and the bun did it no justice. Many burger spots don't take enough pride in their buns. A decent quality that can soak up the juices of the plants and the grease of the burger without crumbling is ideal. The VB bun barely held together and was more cardboardy than bready. Wife was even disappointed, it was not nearly as tasty as she had before she said. BUT the fries and seasoning were great, the onion rings were great, their version of a Chicago dog was pretty darn good, and speaking as a Grady baby who grew up in the South, the sweet tea was way too heavy on the simple syrup. All in all, I would definitely give Village Burger another shot. 👍

I hate having to give this bad review. We have been eating here for a couple of years, and we have loved the wings and burgers. This was our go to place for wings but not any longer. We ordered 30 wings, 3 different flavors of wings and they were not good at all. They were so large, rubbery tasting and deformed, they had to be pumped up with steroids. After speaking to the manager about how bad they were she did say that they had changed who they bought their wings from. I told her she lost a customer we will never buy their wings again. I don’t usually complain to a manager about the food I eat if I am not satisfied but when your lunch is over $45 dollars they need to know. Their burger was good that I had also. I love that we have this little restaurant downtown but they need to step up their game. We will even go further out of our way and go to Castleberry Ale for wings and burgers, they are great there.
