If I could give a zero I would. Only reason I’m giving a 1 star is because I was hungry so I ate the food. When we got there no one greeted us so we were standing and waiting for a seat. Table opened up but they didn’t bother to clean the table so we asked can we get a rag to clean the table. Our waitress Kayleigh walks over and wipes half the table and says sit down. Only reason I know her name is because I read her name tag. She didn’t even leave her name on the receipt.She didn’t seem like she wanted to serve us at all. Not sure if she was having a bad day or if she just didn’t want to serve us. She came to the table didn’t introduce herself and asked us what we were drinking. I tried to break the tension by saying hey how are you doing today and she responds I’m good what you want to drink. We order our food and half the food we get is cold. Just felt we were being mistreated the whole time and this is the worst Waffle House I ever went to. Glad I don’t stay near this Waffle House so I won’t ever be going back. We were just leaving Savannah trying to grab a decent meal before we hit the road. If you enjoy being treated like you’re scum and that you’re not good enough to be greeted or a simple smile from your waitress then this the place for you. Read moreI just wanted something to eat after work. I tried calling it in on my way. Ignored. You can't eat inside at night anymore, which I understand, but the woman at the window is so slow to even take an order or bag it up. I'm literally standing out here in the cold and she's standing by the window with a bag for someone that's not even at the window waiting on it, while three of us, completely separate customers are just waiting to order. I'm just hungry and its cold and late at night and I know it's Waffle House. I worked third shift at waffle house too, I understand what it's like but I still tried. I still cared. I leave a 100% tip most of the time just because I appreciate them being here. Like $10 tip for a texas sausage egg and cheese melt with a hashbrown. Easiest order in the world but now I don't even want to spend the money here and support the business. I think she must be on cloud nine to be this slow to do anything and look at you like you are speaking a foreign language. Read moreThis store has some rude A* employees I called to place an order and a rude a* female answer the phone by repeatedly saying hello wouldn’t let me get a word in until I started saying I hear you then she going to reply by saying oh well what do u want to order I was trying to ask her was this the Waffle House on hwy 17 then she started giggling saying hello repeatedly again then started talking to another customer in the back so she then put someone else on the phone and this guy immediately started going off wen I said can you hear me because she don’t need to answer the phones anymore she said well if u get better service for your phone maybe we can hear other than that what do you want to order and I hung up because they are extremely rude and have very lack of customer service and I will b going to head manager the general manager the district manager and cooperate office those two employees should no longer work there.
