Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

I had a 5 star experience at this Waffle House. From the get go I was greeted with smiles from the staff when i walked in the door. The Manager on duty held the door open for me when I walked in the door. I chose where I wanted to sit and while doing so I observed: a very clean and neat environment, staff members cleaning, and full condiment stations. When I sat down the tables were dry and clean. There was No wet rag residue on the tables and also when I put my arms on the table top I didn't observe any stickiness from any food waste. I washed my hands and the restrooms were extremely clean and the soap station was full. My server gave my a 5 star service and worked very hard to make sure i was EXTREMELY satisfied. My server refilled my drinks quickly and with a smile, not even did he forget a single detail for my special request of diet coke with lemon and light ice. He has top shelf customer service skills and delivered my food and check with confidence. My cooks , who i want to give a shout out to, threw down the best all star special a person could ever ask for. The consistency of the food i ordered: my scrambled eggs with cheese and my hash browns in the ring , well done on both sides; was truly ALL STAR ☺☻☺☻!! The cook perfected the art of searing that bacon, lemme tell ya! was crispy yet juicy and flavorful! Not to forget to mention, the cook went the extra mile by introducing me to a new way to eat the waffle. Something like melting the butter then searing it again on the grill to caramelize the flavor within. It was quite the mid day delight! I just had breakfast at this Waffle House. I ordered a side of sausage gravy and when it came out it was almost cold and had a funky taste to it. Upon questioning the mgr he said it had been made a few days ago and it had obviously not been kept to temperature. After I was served my portion he had thrown the rest of it out. So why was it even served to me? I am waiting to see if I end up with food poisoning later today. If so, Waffle House will be hearing back from me. And my meal wasn’t even compted! Server has potential, seems he wasn't trained properly. Teamwork, leadership, and confidence displayed by staff was dismal. My kids scrambled eggs appeard to have started out as fried eggs that were beaten into scrambled eggs at the over medium stage. I've never been served eggs that poorly made at any waffle house. The bacon and sausage came out halfway through our meal. My wife's eggs were over cooked considerably. Even the waffles were much smaller than I have ever received at a waffle house. And no coffee made at 5:30 in the afternoon? Had to wait for a pot to brew. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time. We were never offered any beverage refills. I will not go back to...
